"We ate at the kitchen garden cafe this morning. Food took over minutes to come out. Staff were unhelpful and abrupt. The food came out in no discernible order. They left two people waiting for their food for minutes and then told them they had run out of what they'd ordered. One person's side order of black pudding came out minutes before his full english; we returned it and asked if a hot portion could come out when his breakfast did and by the time it came out they'd run out of black pudding. They were unapologetic when we complained. I didn't get my breakfast...after waiting so long everyone else had finished eating, I just cancelled it. Out of people, people ended up with refunds and no breakfast. Appalling. The only explanation we got was that the kitchen was small. I would argue that if you can't handle groups then don't book them in. I booked the table with the manager and told him that it was a special occasion, and he said there would be no problems. We also ordered in groups of or not as one big group. Even then when food came out that someone had ordered, part of the order would come out and it would be or more minutes before the other part of their order came out. The staff seemed to be allergic to the word sorry and didn't seem to care at all about customer service. I have been going there since it opened and I cannot believe how atrocious the service has gotten. Avoid."

the place is something hidden, but a visit with a cute green courtyard and a wonderful quirky venue that offers breakfast / brunch and lunch option and is vegan friendly.

a unique place with many plants and garden items for sale. there were some vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options on the menu that was usually standard British cafe food. I had the vegetarian breakfast. simple, but tasty and hearty.

a beautiful place to sit under the green. beautiful ambiente, friendly staff, and my eier royale was luxurious and tasty, with a generous part of smoked salmon, drops with hollandaise and the eigelb were perfect runny. and the prices are also quite good!

this is a really friendly place, away from kings heath high street. some things on the menu are on the expensive side, but if they don't want to spend too much, there are also cheaper options. it is worth trying both the lunch and the evening menus, as they are quite different, my favorite is the tapas style dinner. This is a really friendly place, tucked away off Kings Heath high street. Some things on the menu are on the pricey side, but if you're not wanting to spend too much there are cheaper options too. It's worth trying out both the lunch and evening menus, as they're very different my favourite is the tapas-style evening menu. I'll be going back again and again!! Great for live music too!
