The food was excellent and the staff were very attentive. The chef came to the table to check the food was satisfactory which it more than was.

The food at Umani is amazing. The staff is attentive and the food is the best I've had in a while. I couldn't find any flaws with Umani or its staff. I will definitely be coming back.

We had an amazing family birthday dinner at this restaurant. The food was delicious and nicely plated. The prices were fair and the staff, especially Hoq, were friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend giving it a try!

A mid week dinner. The service is exemplary with staff remembering us from a previous visit. The food is wonderful. Full of flavour and with generous portions too much for me really and I have an excellent appetite. We felt welcome and really enjoyed ourselves (and our dinner).

Home delivery, chicken madras, garlic and coriander naan, 2 chapatti, 2 sheik kebab and other stuff. Chicken madras no heat and swimming in ghee,naan was a chapatti with coriander and no garlic, both chapatti and naan tough, ate some, £25 now in the bin. We absolutely loved this restaurant. The staff were really friendly and the food was incredible. They even brought us out a free dessert for our anniversary, it made the night even more special. The restaurant itself is really lovely and cosy. I would travel all the way back from Manchester to eat here again :

Wow at last found a beautiful Indian restaurant in Birmingham!! Having been recently disappointed with so many bad ones in Birmingham this one surely made up for it !! Excellent food beautifully spiced and fresh. My wife and I loved it being Indian ourselves. Nice decor and great beer on Tap. Chef and staff were very friendly. Overall 11/10

Just enjoyed a superb meal. We had Pani Puri Sheek Kabab starters followed by Paneer Lababdor and chicken makhani. All dishes were really good, but the chicken was the best “butter chicken” I have ever eaten. Really pleased they have continued to fill the dishes with plenty of meat and paneer. Price is still fair. Umami may not match Dishoom for decor, but the food is just as good. Voir le carte
