"Not sure why it's still table service only for just drinks and it took ages to come despite the plethora of earnest young waiting staff. Accept prices are high for the amazing view but not being given a notice about tipping as well just for drinks; the girl hung around expectantly. And my husband said the beer was hazy, not bad enough to return but he didn't finish it. We've been visiting the pub for 45 years and still only one ladies toilet for the number of visitors. We had thought of returning for a meal but weren't impressed enough."

Great food with plenty of choices for vegans as well as vegetarians and meat eaters. Wonderful beer garden with beautiful views of the Surrey Hills.

Didn't go inside but nice outside seating area and the food was good, Sunday roast x 2 admittedly the beef was a bit over done and portion size could be better, but my dining companion enjoyed the lamb. Nice place to go after a local walk.

We visited yesterday and it was great. Friendly staff, really good fresh food with some nice vegan options and a beautiful garden area to enjoy the views with the dog. We even managed to spot some wild parakeets flying around, definitely a little hidden gem. Voir le carte

A very charming independent free house in Mickleham just outside of Dorking with the views over the Surrey Hills.. The service was excellent. We called them just before the kitchen was closed and they waited for us to arrive for another 15 minutes and served us a delicious Sunday roast. Highly recommend!

We chose this pub because of its beautiful view. We had dressed crab, which was on special offer that day, and it was delightful. It would have been better with mayonnaise rather than Caesar dressing on the salad, though. The service was charming and attentive but sadly we were unable to leave a tip because there was no way of adding that to our credit card payment
