"This was the lucky find for us. We were staying near the east train station (Ostbahnhof)and set out on foot yesterday afternoon to find a spot for dinner. It's an easy half block walk from the train station or the number 19 tram. We arrived about 730 on a busy chilly Saturday night. The place was packed with locals. Happily for us they found us a table for two. Everything about it was wonderful. Yes the pizza was good, and there were a number of choices. But the various pasta dishes and daily specials are really superb. Great unpretentious wine list. Italian was the primary language spoken, with a lot of German. The proprietor and the waiters have a good grasp on English also. The menu is available with English however the translation of the daily blackboards and the seasonal specials in the front of the menu were in Italian and German only. We're adding this to our list of five go-to places in Munich for future visits."

Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Speisen sind Original italienisch und schmecken hervorragend. Die Örtlichkeiten sind gepflegt und sauber.

I have been to this place tens of times, and always liked the food I ordered. They make really good pizzas, great fresh fish, very good pastas and they have lovely service personell.

Service nett, Pizza gut, was will man mehr zum Mittag. Außerdem hat der Wirt einen kreativen Sinn für Humor. Es gibt eine extra Karte mit Pokemon Pizzen (vor dem Lokal gibt es wohl eine Pokemon Go Arena). Sieht witzig aus und schmeckt.

Preise in Ordnung. 31.50€ für Vitello Tonnato, Pizza Lucifer, Wasser und einen Weißwein. Vorspeise etwas trocken. Sollte eigentlich besser gehen. Es gab Brot dazu welches aber sehr trocken war. Die Pizza etwas fettig und der Teig wenig kross. Alles in allem war ich satt, würde aber nicht unbedingt nochmal hingehen.

Sehr netter Gastraum, freundliche und aufmerksame Ober und eine Pizza mit hauchdünnem Boden innen wie es sein sollte. Wir werden wieder kommen. Auch zu Fuß vom Ostbahnhof leicht zu erreichen. Parkplatzsituation nicht einfach aber lösbar. Theoretisch 100 Meter entfernt auch ein öffentliches Parkhaus verfügbar wer nicht suchen will.

The Pizza Casale sounded good, so I tried it. It's a nicely spicy pizza cooked in a stone oven; the taste was very good. The service was fine, too. There’s a good variety on the menu. The atmosphere was very lively and the restaurant was very cosy. All in all, an excellent place for a meal. My wife and I met friends here for dinner. It was excellent, and the crowds (not an unoccupied table from 18:30 until 21:00) showed it. Best to reserve.

This restaurant came recommended to us so we gave it a try. We are Italian go to people so have plenty of background. We were very pleased. Easy to find. Great atmosphere. Staff appeared to be all Italian. English was not an issue. Had the carpaccio and a avocado special for apps. Cheryl had the Carbonara and I had a lobster calamari pasta. Both were very flavourful and portions were good. House wine was a good choice. You won't be disappointed.
