Hung Tou - Carte

Not the best but not the worst. They OFTEN get order wrong mixed up. Twice they've given my order to someone else then had to wait for it all over again. OPERATE A SYSTEM PLEASE

I took the food back and showed them, they questioned it but I told them they were going to kill someone.... They gave my money back, but that was not what it was about.... Be careful...

Dropped in after a day of sightseeing, prices were very reasonable but meals were pretty average, not much meat in them at all, but taste wasn't too bad. Just a pass .. Won't be rushing back in a hurry Voir le carte

I recently ordered delivery from Hungry House, and I must say it was a disappointing experience. The driver had trouble finding our house even though he called to let us know he was outside. The food was not up to par, with the exception of the rice which was decent.

I am a fan of Chinese food and have been to quite a few places. I would definitely Hung Tou to fellow Chinese lovers due to the fact that the food is cooked very well and the it tastes absolutely on point! Would Definitely recommend the black bean sauce : you'll thank me later!

This restaurant used to be a good option for takeout, but it seems like its popularity has led to a decline in quality. They are understaffed, delivery times are getting longer, and the food is not as good as it used to be. There are better Chinese takeout options available, which is disappointing. Voir le carte

I ordered takeout from Hung Tou while I was in the area. The delivery arrived close to the expected time, but unfortunately, the food was not what I had requested. The chow mein and fried rice were okay, but the chop suey was missing and instead, sweet and sour vegetables were included. I didn't feel like calling to complain since it would have meant everyone eating at different times. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

I believe this place is under new management and ever since the service and food has deteriorated. The person taking my order was not listening to me and as a result messed up my order. The customer service was really poor and the food was even worse. The container of food that was given to me smelt and looked like cat food. It tasted disgusting and was actually inedible. When I bit into one of the spring rolls there was no filling inside. This place should not be able to serve food of any kind. I would not advise eating anything from this place.

I’ve read the reviews and really I don’t get it. I’ve been getting takeaways from Hung Tou for over 4 years and I must say it’s the best cheap Chinese takeaway in London that I’m aware of. My favourite is the Beef Ho Fun and for me it’s in the top 3 in London. I would say only Royal China in Baker Street London Hong Kong near Heathrow come anywhere near it and cost almost double at these 2 restaurants. The beef is nice and soft and in abundance rather than in most places where they put as little as possible and it’s usually over cooked and even hard. So my advice is try it for yourself and decide.
