"I had such an amazing evening at this restaurant while celebrating a birthday party. The atmosphere is so authentic, and you instantly feel welcomed. The owner is friendly, polite, and very entertaining. The staff is efficient and warm, providing excellent service. I enjoyed the lamb and Greek salad, which were both generous portions. The lamb was incredibly tender and full of flavor, making it a delight to eat. They also have a beautiful selection of wines and dessert options. I tried the sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream—delicious! The owner even played some Greek music and led us in a little Greek dance. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a restaurant where you feel special and at home."

"The food is prepared fresh upon ordering, and the cod was both fresh and well-cooked. However, the chips were a little soggy—this might be due to the time of year. The meal was on the pricier side at £23 for two cans of drink, two servings of peas, two pieces of fish, and one small portion of chips. "We had afternoon tea here as part of a gift experience. Our waiter was fantastic, very attentive polite, absolutely no snobbery from using a voucher. The cream tea itself was lovely! We went with our two young children but I 'd recommend you not go with them if possible Despite my boys being very well behaved, we got quite a few dirty looks from other customers and it didn 't seem like a particularly 'child friendly ' place. "I stumbled upon this fantastic place on a cold and windy Monday in January. I treated myself to a delicious full English Captain's breakfast, complete with two eggs, two tasty sausages, bacon, hash browns, beans, mushrooms, and fried bread. I also enjoyed a pot of tea. The prices were reasonable, the service was quick, and the staff were friendly. The cafe had a great atmosphere and offered lovely views of Shaldon beach. The downstairs area was dog-friendly, making it perfect for beach walks."

"Disappointing if I’m honest. We booked as a family because we really fancied some fresh seafood. When we called we specified that there were six adults, five children and a baby in a high chair. At no point during that call did anyone say that there is no children’s menu available which made for an even more expensive trip. The food was very expensive, we ended up getting the children to share three fish and chips between them and the fish inside the batter was lovely but the chips were drenched in oil. Three of us shared one of the platters and whilst it was lovely and very well presented, we all walked away hungry as there isn’t really much fish on there for you to eat. The waitress was lovely but we had to keep prompting for things we’d asked for that had been forgotten despite the restaurant being empty."
