Just had the best roast beef dinner I’ve had in a long time. Really tasty. Absolutely no faults. Compliments to the chef and staff. Definitely will return.

Managed to get a last minute table (must have been rare as heard the lady at the bar saying they were now fully booked as we walked in). Staff were very attentive, food amazing and good choice of drinks..

The pub's interior is modern and charming, with a view of the kitchen giving off canteen vibes. The menu was limited, so I opted for the burger, which was good. The portion of fries was impressive. The waiter was friendly and the service was good, but the food may have been a bit overpriced. Voir le carte

This is one of my favourite places to eat. Never ever disappointed! I took my family for dinner last night as a pre Christmas family get together. We chose from the excellent 3 course set menu each dish was well presented and delicious. This is lovely setting and the staff were great, all in all a fantastic example of a gastropub.

Just returned from a Christmas meal with friends £35 each. Their starter was missing sourdough bread:their main was missing a vegan Yorkshire pudding; their pudding- they were told no vegan ice cream would sorbet do? then some ice cream was found?! After complaining we got £20 off drinks but it still doesn’t really make up for the fact each course had missing something

Lovely dinner. Completely complies with all the new COVID restrictions. Distanced tables. The food is served quickly. Very fresh and delicious. Had a sharing platter to start, with anchovies, calamari, and chicken wings with a delicious homemade sauce. Followed by hake and burgers, definitely recommend all dishes. Very attentive staff at all times. Will definitely be back. Voir le carte

Terrible service, decent food. We arrived and one lady was seating a short queue while 3 other staff stood around looking lost, we then had to wait around 15 mins to order drinks so ordered food at the same time. The food came out quickly but after we finished it took over 30 mins for plates to be cleared and desserts to be offered, nobody asked if food was ok.Overall decent food terrible service.

We were impressed with the delicious lunch menu and decided to come back and try other dishes. The duck confit and sea trout with seafood risotto were both tasty. The risotto had a bit too much chili for my liking, but everything was cooked well. We both enjoyed the steak and ale pie on our second visit, which was good. The kale that came with it was also okay. The treacle sponge pudding was light and the white chocolate and cranberry Blondie with ice cream was a hit. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Terrible , we ordered fish and chips , I had 11chips on my plate my husband 13 . No staff interested in how our meal was , my rum and coke drink was drowned in coke , I asked the barman if he could possibly pour another for me , he took it with attitude from the table and two minutes later returned with the same drink but had tipped out some of the drink . Horrible experience would not recommend going here if you’re looking for good food , nice atmosphere and friendly staff . I emailed them two weeks ago and not heard a thing as yet ! Voir le carte
