"We stopped for breakfast and had the vegetarian cooked breakfasts minus the egg to make them vegan. When they first arrived we both were shocked and thought that for £8 it looked miserable with one and a half slices of toast, just one sausage, a quartered cooked tomato and a small lump of beetroot ‘black pudding’... oh and a few chunks of portobello mushroom. It looked sad! But everything was very well flavored and it did end up being filling enough! It would have been nice if the place had had some vegan sauce to go with as ketchup and brown sauce there wasn’t vegan. Some baked beans or spinach would have made it an amazing breakfast! We also grabbed a vegan pasty to go and it was the best we had in Cornwall! Very expensive but amazing!! The chef obviously knows how to flavor stuff!"

When I'm in Mousehole I usually drop in for tea, or coffee and one of their vegan soups or meal options. Great chef.

Small deli serving local food, good vegan options including a vegan cream tea (often with homemade cashew cream). Had the lentil wrap (regular menu) there were also vegan options on the specials board. Staff were helpful and friendly, offering choices on adapting other dishes where possible. Food was really tasty, view's across the harbour are also stunning!

I stopped a quick coffee here. had the option of at least 2 alternatives for an extra 50p. they had nothing small than just one wanted snack that was fresh, only wrapped snackbars, but that was not important. they are dog-friendly, which was ideal. I looked at the lunch menu that had a few vegan lunches, but was not marked in any way, so that another worker would have to ask to clarify. I saw a vegan pasty on the counter, although that looked good. Voir le carte

We had originally made a reservation at another restaurant, but once we saw this deli, we changed our minds. The restaurant upstairs offered a lunch set that was beyond delicious. The coffee was excellent and the seafood paella was incredibly fresh. The sandwich was amazing, particularly because of the daily bakery's sourdough. The restaurant is run by a lovely Cornish couple who are exceptionally talented. We will definitely be returning to enjoy the lunch set again, a 3-course meal with 5-star quality.

The cafe is in a great location with beautiful views of Mousehole harbour. When we visited there was only one vegan option on the menu, a spiced lentil roll/wrap (like a giant sausage roll filled with spicy lentils) that was served with some warm cashew cheese sauce, a tomato relish and a nice dressed salad on the side. Really good value it was around £8 for a filling portion. The staff were really helpful and attentive. There is also a good selection of local chutneys/sauces/marinades to buy and you could order items to take away.

"So let us share our experience, We went in tonight as a family after seeing that it home made food on the drive to sennen and looked online and had a good look at the food available on the menu also looking to see if it was dog friendly and it ticked all the boxes, Upon arrival me and my wife went in 1st to ask if we could have a table for food and if dogs can go inside and staff were a little unsure but they confirmed we could upon asking for a table for 7 but one in a pram he said we don’t have the availability to cater I was looking at a table big enough and eventually said that this table was available whilst being seated we had 2 table one clean and the 2nd just been finished with so needed a clean but he came and cleaned both tables and he squirted the cleaner on a clean table and the over spray bounced off the table and went over our selfs then we were handed a menu freshly printed A4 paper thrown on the table (WET TABLE) so they stuck to the table upon agreeing what we wanted we went to the bar within 2-3 mins of being seated we knew what we wanted and when we asked for the meal it was OUT OF STOCK (Sunday lunch) ok fair so as I was with a family member at the bar I quickly rushed back to the table to ask my daughter of an alternative she wasn’t happy, So I made a meal up of all the extras on the menu so I went back to the bar to find my family member ordered 2 fish and chips then I realised my wife also wanted Sunday lunch so I quickly rushed back to ask her what she wanted and went back to the bar just as my family member left and asked for fish and chips was also sold out also! 99% of the menu was SOLD OUT this should of been discussed upon arrival not as we were ordering I run and operate my own business and this isn’t how I would treat my customers this isn’t how an establishment should be ran! Even when I was standing trying to order a member of staff was standing there arm against the wall doing nothing while customers are standing waiting to be served! So we decided not to eat and my family member went back to the bar to ask for a refund as we couldn’t eat as a family and the staff were iffy about offering a refund but 10 minutes later they did refund my family member as it became a scene for other people as they could see what had happened! This establishment should be call the 1st and late time you come here! We ended up walking to the chip shop down the road for food we are very disappointed in this company and establishment! For anyone who wants to eat please make sure they HAVE STOCK how can this establishment run without stock? Never again tonight they lost over £200 revenue due to this situation!"
