Prompt and efficient telephone take away service. Food piping hot and of a decent quality offering value for money. Sit down area does look somewhat tired.

Takeaway meal which has to be one of the worst we’ve had. The chips were clearly last nights which had been cooked again. Chicken with black bean sauce which looked and tasted as if it had been made from drain water!! Normally the food is great there however tonight’s was awful. Won’t be going back there!!

I used to love the Chinese from cardigan but was very disappointed with our take out last night. Chips are all hard, pork fried rice had 4 small pieces of pork and 3 peas in total. Such a shame as it used to be delicious. Prices have been increased dramatically in the last few years and the quality and quantity of the food has definitely gone down hill.... Voir le carte

Having a Chinese takeaway to end our family holiday was the worst idea by going to this establishment. The food had no flavour and the sauces were what I can only describe as thin bistro gravy. We spent a lot of money and sadly hardly any of of the many different dishes were remotely edible. Emailed them and after a week have had no response. Please please avoid this establishment!!!

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and was very disappointed. The prawn crackers were stale and there were only a few of them. The lemon chicken was dry and tough, and the lemon sauce tasted more like vinegar. The portions were small, so I was glad we ordered extra rice. Overall, this was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I will not be ordering from here again. Avoid at all costs!

I ordered takeout for five people yesterday and was a bit nervous due to some negative reviews here, although the Google reviews were consistently good. The food was top-notch and I would definitely recommend trying it out. I would have given it a 5-star rating, but their COVID collection process could have been better planned out. Having one queue for collection and placing new orders, with only one person allowed in at a time, was not ideal. Voir le carte

This take away had been recommended to us so we decided to give it a go. We thought the food was average, we’ve eaten better Chinese food. The chicken in black bean sauce was very watery, not the unctuous sauce that usually accompanies this dish, ditto the chicken with ginger and spring onions. The noodles contained lots of bean sprouts which is not something we’ve come across before. Prices were average I’d say. They take cash or American Express only.

Upon arrival the staff where very friendly and helpful! They had covid measures in place and helped to make me feel safe! The food was very enjoyable! My children had the children’s rice and chicken ball box meals, there was a really good portion size and they enjoyed the crispy chicken balls! I had a chicken omelette and chips and it was delicious! (I know it’s not a very Chinese meal but thought I’d give it a go) we also had a happy city special rice, this meal was a little tasteless but on the whole we were very impressed! Definitely will be visiting again!

We decided to round off a lovely visit to West Wales with a Chinese meal from the Happy City, which turned out to be the worst takeaway we have ever had. The Singapore rice was burnt. The Chicken in black bean sauce was like chicken in a dishwater and the beef with beansprouts was undescribably poor. I emailed the restaurant to see what they would say for themselves and the customer service turned out to be as bad as their food. No reply. Please do yourselves a favour and steer clears they will happily take your hard earned cash for unbelievably poor food. They only take cash, if I had paid by card I would have cancelled payment.
