"The Hannenfass simply belongs to Kaiserslautern as Betzenberg. Excellent ambience, good mood and delicious food. Great pub in Kaiserslautern's old town. All FCK fans meet there! The service is very fluffy, it draws the drinks directly. Waiting time is fine. The old beer, freshly tapped, tastes very good there. We had to wait a little longer for a fresh pizza, but it tasted very good! The toilets would have to be refurbished, but otherwise it's up, especially for smokers with the large smoking area."

The counter is 1 € more expensive than in Hardrock and a beer less. Dumbs can only sit under 18 until 9:00. And I have to sit outside and get sick. Because there's a small room. Hardrock is better.

The bar itself has a nice atmosphere. However, the waiters we keep encountering with my foreign friends are very much rude. I stopped going there because the personnel were just too stuck up and rude.

The Hannenfass is located at the beginning of the old town not too far from the town hall. There are few parking spaces nearby. The ambience is very rustic, there is a normal room where you can eat, as well as a separated large smoker area.

I just had an excellent meal at Hannenfass! I got the baguette with chicken filet and everything about it was perfection! The chicken was perfectly cooked and flavorful and the baguette was fresh with perfect crispness on top. The süss weinschorle was also really good!

Not a lot of variety in regards to alcohol and the staff are less than friendly but not rude. You won't be able to order food here and I wouldn't recommend when going out with a group of friends. I also remember a glass breaking every 10 minutes, but I'm not sure if that's normal or out of the ordinary. I recommend trying somewhere else in the area.

The service is very friendly and relatively easy. The food and beer there is also very tasty. Pricewise, I would say that the hen barrel is in the middle range. Not so expensive, but also not cheap. From time to time, watching football and drinking a beer is completely fine. It's worth looking over there.
