"I always make sure to avoid service stations and instead stop at a pub just off the main roads on our way to Cornwall for lunch. It's a great way for the kids to stretch their legs and enjoy a good meal. We found a big car park next to some sheep, which the kids loved, and a nice garden where we could eat outside in the sunshine. The pub serves delicious food, especially anything from the local butchers, and the kids menu was served quickly. They also had a good selection of ales on tap. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to return soon!"

The fish and chips were tasty, but the fish was not very good. The prawn cocktail was bland and needed more sauce. Some background music would have been nice, and the staff were not very welcoming.
