"hack hop is one of the frequent after work irrigation holes but it has gone down in the last few years. it has a beautiful upper floor area that can be booked for small private events. foods: the menu is much more...limited and my favorite pot bell is no longer an option. Drink: how to eat, the hack hop has a drink board with a series of different crafts biere on tap. Today, the selection is much more restricted with the same beers that are in all other nearby pubs. service: generally good, although can hit and miss, depending on how busy it is. price: hack hop has always been a bit more expensive than other nearby pubs. this has been compensated for the different selection of beer on the hahn, but is now a somewhat overpriced version of each other pubs. Conclusion: still a good firm pub and a great place to get a pint. it's a bit more pricier than other nearby pubs, but it's also a bit quieter that can make for a more pleasant experience."

Extraordinarily disappointing lunch. An irritable, sweaty, unhelpful, elderly waiter, dry food that has been prepared a week ago. Just an absolutely awful experience.

I'm happy enough to work the corner of this place so a bit biased. that is, however, the best pub in london. eat, service, staff (big liam and stan) all excellent. a local pub in london that feels more like home than home. you must have a hack and hot.

the hack hop whitefriars is a craft beer lover in the city of london. hack hop sister pub the old red cow has been among our favorites for a few years, so we have high expectations at its craft beer offshoot. located in a small street by the fleet street, the hack hop offers a lot of craft beer from all over the world.

Visited the pub for a family meal for my husbands birthday. As non-Londoners I left the choice to my brother cousin who recommended the pub. We all chose the Sunday roast which was fantastic. The portions were more than generous, getting half free-range chicken...which amazing value for money. The atmosphere was great and the staff were really helpful and friendly.

The food wasn't what I was expecting, the Yorkshire puddings were so dry and it was all just a below average. The prices were more than advertised online! The service was horrific, I can’t believe they have the audacity to add service charge. Everything was...made to feel like were were an inconvenience and they were too busy to service us. There are far better places for food and much friendlier staff.

10 adult and a 2 year went for Sunday roasting to hack and hop. I had read about the restaurant in an evening standard review. we had a table upstairs. they have a bar in the ground floor and upstairs, so they don't have to. below the service was very good although there was another great party at the same time we. the food was very good, we had two bratbeefs and two plates, then the brownies and sticky toffee pudding had. the only thing I would say could be improved would be the yorkshire puddings that were as crispy as all the moistness had been taken from them. we came here on Monday to a team dinner (19 of us). the preparation for the event was a brise, they were very responsive by email, shared menus before the time and took our orders before the time and were also very flexible with last...minute changes / cancellations. When we arrived, they saw us in a private escaping area above and we had a dedicated server that was great. all our options have been fulfilled, as well as special nutritional questions and sweet were also happy. a burger had arrived a little late, but otherwise they did really well with a great order and we would come happy again

My SO and I had made a reservation via email for a 4pm Sunday roast a few weeks prior to our trip to London. Unfortunately when we arrived at the arranged time, we were greeted with the restaurant closing and they told us that they...didn't have any record of our reservation in their paper books. Later we ended up corresponding with the manger on the original email thread from our reservation request, and they apologized for their mistake (and offered us free food However, we didn't have any time to take advantage of this before we had to head back home. So I can't review the food, but was obviously not overall happy with the organization and service. Hopefully they will modernize their rese...

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
