Visited early Saturday evening, and it was already busy. It has an interesting menu with Nepalese dishes and more traditional ones. The staff were pleasant and helpful in making our choices and even changed an ingredient to suit us. The food was delicious, especially the nan bread, best we've had. Recommended. Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

One of the finest curries around. Excellent detail in the dishes which are all very unique from one another. The nan bread is also the best I’ve had outside of London. Staff are polite and professional. Wish I lived closer as it would most defiantly be my regular. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings Not sure

"My wife and I booked a table at the Cinnamon Tree on Tuesday for the Sunday early evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I checked their web site first before booking as the actual date was on the Monday. Finding out that they did not...open on Mondays we opted for the Sunday. I telephoned the restaurant and made the booking. the person on the other end of the telephone repeated my details and time date ect. We turned up at the restaurant to fined it was closed with a sign on the door stating that they did not open on Sundays and Mondays. We got back in the car and went to turn around at the back of the restaurant and I saw a door at the back of the restaurant open. I stopped the car and went to the door and found someone in the kitchen. I told them that I had booked a table for that night and he confirmed what we had found out with the notes on the door. He then telephoned the owners of the restaurant and he put me on the telephone and I spoke to the owners partner and she said they have not been open for several weeks owing to staff shortages. I asked the lady why the booking had been taken as the staff must be aware of when the restaurant is closed or open and I had gone by their web site. She replied we haven't bothered to up date our web site and will not be doing so and have not bothered to blank out Sundays on the book were the reservations are written in and just blamed the person that took the booking in the first place. Her attitude was I couldn't care less. At this point I was boiling as I have used the Cinnamon Tree for many years and have always had a good meal there. But after this episode they can go to hell I will never go there again."
