"Traveling from Luxembourg to Rudesheim Am Rhein, and needed a place for dinner. We stopped in Bernkastel as we had seen recommendations as to how quaint it was, and we were not disappointed! The town is very scenic, right on a river, and everywhere we went was another great photo opportunity. We stumbled on this restaurant, and decided to give it a try. Inside is very nice, lots of tables with nice, decorative interior. The staff was friendly, and we all chose pasta for dinner. All the meals came out piping hot and delicious, and it really hit the spot. It did take a while for us to be able to get our check, but it wasn't more than we have experienced in other restaurants on our trip. I think this would be a great stop for families, as well as couples, and we would definitely stop there again!"

"Wir haben das Restaurant während unseres 5tägigen Aufenthaltes in Bernkastel Kues 2 Mal besucht. Wir hatten keine Lust auf Schnitzel oder Flammkuchen. Es sollte nicht das Standard Essen sein sondern was anderes, vielleicht auch ein wenig kreatives. Das war es! Bedienung: geistreich, mit besonderem Humor ausgestattet, hat alles im Griff, tolle Beraterin. Speisen: kreativ zB der Wilschweinburger oder die Menü Zusammenstellungen, klassische gut das Steak. Geschmacklich alles toll mit Abstand das Beste was wir im Mosel Urlaub konsumieren durften, daher waren wir auch 2 Mal dort. Location: mitten im wunderschönen Bernkastel Kues auch wenn nicht auf der Hauptstraße der Schnitzel Flammkuchen Fraktion gelegen. Wir empfehlen eine Besuch, ohne Reservierung ist es allerdings ein Glücksspiel ob man einen Platz bekommt wir hatten Glück! Irgendwann besuchen wir wieder die Mosel und das Restaurant Graacher Tor, kein Thema!"

"omdat wij de local keuken niet lekker vonden ( zout en veel vlees) hebben wij voor dit restaurant kozen. dit was een juiste keuze. vooraf krijg je een versnapering net chutney ed. bij iedere just naam en of rijst. wij hebben de linzensoep vooraf kozen. here zaten weinig linzen in en was eeg zout. hoofdjust kip taj mahal the smaakte erg goed en hij was ook lekker pitty. verder hebben vegetable korma genomen er zat weinig groente in ( voor onze smaak) en veel saus. hij was wel lekker. de aardappelen chat aloo stelde weinig voor dit were 10 small stukjes aardappel op een bedje van sla en tomaat. de johnny salat was prima maar de kijkersvragen en bonen were beperkt aanwezig. samen met een grote fles water 2 glazen wijn were wij €50,00 kwijt. voor ons een goede prijs kwaliteit. as je smaak vol wilt eten is dit een aanrader ten opzichte van de other restaurants."

"Je n'avais pas visité Bernkastelkues ou le café théisen pendant environ trois ans et demi. Cependant, j'ai trouvé ce week-end dernier que la nourriture reste excellente, le service amical et attentionné, et le coût d'un grand repas allemand encore moins cher à ... Ce restaurant par rapport aux autres dans cette ville touristique. Je vous recommande vivement de vous préparer un repas calme et relaxant dans ce café, après avoir flâné les backalleys et les petits magasins pavés de la moussante. Un bon choix de faire face à la nourriture et à la boisson et à échapper aux foules d'été. Mon endroit préféré à Bernkastelkues"

"This restaurant is located one the left side of the Mosel, the part of the town called Kues but coming from Bernkastel you only have to cross the bridge, turn left and walk to reach it. I live in Trier and currently work in...Bernkastel-Kues. For lunch this is my favourite restaurant. First of all, the food is very good and priceworthy (I always ask for todays menu and have taken it every time). In a place like Bernkastel-Kues, where lots of tourists stay only for one day and there is no need to satisfy them, this is surely not the norm. Don`t ask for favourite meals: Pizza (with bresaola and rucola) was of italian quality, the Schnitzel is also nice, the ravioli (with asparagus filling) seem to be selfmade. I like them all (and others). Besides, the owner is a particularly friendly guy. The interior seems a bit outdated, but don*bt be mistaken!"
