Lunch special on a quiet Wednesday. We came from an instagram post (which we later realised was from the west end location) but the staff accommodated us anyway and served us this incredible steak sandwich lunch special. Thanks team! We will be back

I found the chicken tenders to be quite tough. The so-called truffle oil and parmesan chips were actually just frozen French fries that had been lightly fried, topped with a mystery cheese. "We didn't have any starters. The steak was undercooked, and the arugula looked wilted. The togarashi-seasoned greens tasted unwashed. Overall, it was a disappointing dish. Disappointing experience overall. There was a 45 minute wait for food despite there being only a few other customers. We were not told about the specials available or the promotions that were on at the time. We also had to ask for our bill after waiting quite a while and one drink came in a dirty glass. You could hear staff arguing/ discussing weekend plans from the bar area. The menu was not the same as online. The mac and cheese was advertised as vegetarian yet was served with pancetta and beef fat chips. I added the gochuyang prawns which weren’t worth the extra £4. The truffle fries were also mediocre. Won’t be back.

The food was decent; the fish and chips were enjoyable. However, the service left much to be desired. The staff seemed inattentive, and we felt overlooked. We might have ordered additional food and drinks if someone had actually approached us. We had to request the lunch menus ourselves (there was no offer for a toddler's meal), ask to order drinks, and even ask for the bill. We eventually stood around in our coats waiting for the card machine while the staff chatted at the bar. They appeared disorganized and lacked direction, especially under a manager who seemed disengaged, glued to his phone and laptop while avoiding eye contact.
