typical place with great welcome and courtesy. in the menu you will find a good variety of dishes and a discreet choice of wines. we went into 5 people and both the reach of the pork and the Florentine were of good quality and cooked properly. good also the price quality ratio. parking is in the immediate vicinity of the market square, also to digest how much eaten you can take a short walk in the typical part of sorano with a visit to the panoramic point on the terrace. We have been eating here for 20 years. Really disappointed today. Three big problems- 1. We waited over hour and a half for a plate of food. 4 tables who arrived after us got their food first. 2. Waiters when asked politely where our food was disappeared and didn’t give us any info. 3. Worst of all, the food was pretty bad. Although restaurant inside looks refreshed, the pasta in 8 portions of pappardelle Alle cingiale was all stuck together with v little sauce. The truffle pasta was tasteless, they refunded us that after the head waitress tasted it and apologised. The only apology received at the end was one free bottle of wine between 14 people of whom half were children. Such a shame but...

I was looking for a restaurant in the area to dine and this seemed to me the only Monday evening open in this charming Tuscan village. I didn't like the atmosphere so much, I expected something in line with the place where it is and instead broadcast a very common restaurant from the outskirts of a big city. the situation has changed completely. the meat and cheese mill was great, first choice products and, to say manco, at km0 doc. for the first also, given the particularly hunting area I opted for some pappardelle with wild boar and what to say, fantastic! the ribollita was exquisite, really well done. perhaps the account I would have expected a little less salty, almost 50 euros for an ap...

This restaurant is a great find! In this little town. Our meal was delicious, the pasta is made fresh in the restaurant and you can see them making it, which is fun. my husband had wild boar tortellini and I had sage and butter ravioli which is the best I have ever tasted. The bread is also homemade which is a nice change from the usual bread served in Italian restaurants. And then the desserts… The tiramisu was ridiculously good! The whole restaurant is a really nice experience, it’s decorated with big chandeliers mixed with modern lights, old wooden tables, candles, the whole ambiance makes for a very fun evening and the staff were very lovely with us .
