"We visit the area around March Xmas each year with our caravan. We eat at the Feathers almost every day during the holiday. John is always friendly accomodating greets us like regulars. The menu is extensive enough that we have plenty of choice variation thru out our stays. It spans from comfort pub grub (lasagne, lamb shank etc) to what i call gastro pub (salmon with crushed new pots mange tout, pork belly). The puddings are lovely, with about a dozen choices, very generous portions. If you want some entertainment, ask John to recomend a gin. He has shelves of them!"

Best Christmas dinner out ever! Staff and owner very friendly! Lunch was relaxed and unhurried! No fault could be found with the food or service! Simply GREAT!

While staying at The Feathers, I had a fantastic experience thanks to John and his team. The lasagna served with garlic bread and salad was superb. Highly recommended!

The food was incredible and the service was great! I'm not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from because our meal was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend.

The worst experience ever! Apartment dark , dirty, no air con. The food overpriced cheap frozen ,the service from the Chinese waitress appalling, the owner gutless, clueless, never again

Food was fine, nothing to get wildly excited about here but perfectly pleasant. Staff were ok, could have been a little more enthusiastic but there we go!! Would we go back?? Maybe, maybe not......

We were in Sandringham visting the tulip tapping and called in to this lovely little pub restaurant. They had so many different spirits, wines and beers. Food was amazing as well all ready decided we will be back again later in the year. What a lovely little village pub.

Great bands but slow service and grumpy rude barman. Heard him snap at more than one customer unnecessarily. They had run out of gin glasses so got it served in a branded lager glass despite seeing hardly any gin glasses on tables…when I did eventually get one it was a nasty plastic scratches one. Wouldn’t go here again unfortunately.

My partner and I went out for a pleasant lunch. However, we were informed by our waiter that the chef did not show up that day. We decided to order tempura fish and vegetables, but when it arrived, it was severely overcooked and had a bitter taste. Overall, it was not a good experience. I emailed the restaurant about our disappointing meal, but have not received a response.

Awful the bar man was rude and very abrupt. They did manage to squeeze us in as the kitchen had closed at 7.45 we arrived just before 8. So that was the only reason I 've given it 1 star. I had fish and chips it was mushy I couldn 't eat the batter it tasted awful the chips were powdery and all the condiments were cheap and again tasted awful. Then a lady came and took our food and didn 't ask how was it or anything just you done? !! Don 't bother wasting your money here find a Tesco and get a meal deal. Shame as the building and garden are lovely.

"My wife and I stayed here for a few days to celebrate my birthday. We chose Titchwell Manor due to its location on the A149. From here we can catch the Coasthopper up or down the coast. The bus stops are 100 metres outside the hotel. We were greeted in the car park and shown to our room behind the hotel. We had Basil number 21. It is a large comfortable room, with walk in shower and the fluffiest towels we have ever had. The room was very well heated and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was served from a civilised 8am. The plate of fresh fruit was really good. If you choose to have you eggs poached they will be the most perfect you will ever have with their lovely orange yokes. The rest of the components were equally good and served with leaf tea or great coffee. The bars each had a lovely roaring log fire, where we enjoyed a drink before our meal. The menu choices we made were ham hock, brioche piccalilli and burnt apple purée followed by venison, Jerusalem artichoke and rainbow kale. The other choice was marinated beetroot, basil pesto and goats cheese cream followed by salt baked celeriac, sage and onion with crispy kale. Both meals were outstanding. The venison was very tender and the celeriac was outstanding. On the basis of this dish, a very under stated vegetable. Service was very good and served at a speed we dictated without the continual pestering we have experienced elsewhere. We will definitely come back here as the whole stay was a great experience."
