"Worst indian takeaway ive ever had, more flavour in a packet of ready salted crisps chicken tasted like it had been stored under the chefs armpit for 3 days, dry chewy and rank although youd probably get more salt from an armpit than any of the food we got. Bland. Peshwari nan, equally terrible Irn bru was good but warm, probably the only thing that kept the chips warm. Should of had a micro meal instead Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

Great little restaurant for a family dinner, service was good with staff very attentive. Starters are my favorite and i was not disappointed with a varied selection with all we had being very good, the main meals and sweets were good as well and will be back if in the area again.

Delicious eaten! Service was very friendly and served quickly and well despite the crowds. We had a starter with seasoned potatoes, papadum with different sauces, chicken tikka masala and shashlik lamb, all good. Read some negative reviews about the food beforehand, unjustified in my opinion. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Voir le carte

I had dinner at this restaurant and it was a delightful experience. The food was exceptional, earning a solid 5 out of 5, especially the Mixed Grill Platter and Papadum, which I highly recommend. The service was equally impressive, also receiving a 5; the staff were attentive and welcoming. The atmosphere was nice, with a rating of 4, providing a pleasant setting for a meal. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience and would definitely return!

We were brought here by friends and absolutely loved it! The menu offers a refreshing take compared to the typical Indian restaurant, featuring a delightful Nepalese twist that really sets it apart. Everything was incredibly delicious. The honey-coated chicken starter is a must-try, and the Kathmandu curry is simply outstanding—mouthwateringly amazing! When we're back in Dunfermline, this will definitely be our go-to spot. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

"**Atmosphere:** The restaurant is small but feels cozy without being cramped. On this visit, we were seated at a lovely window table, which made for an inviting and comfortable experience. When it gets busy, the atmosphere is lively, and the music is at just the right volume to enhance the ambiance without turning into a shouting match. Perfect! **Food:** We were there to celebrate my daughter's 30th birthday with a party of five. For starters, we tried the Summer BBQ Picanha steak, scallops, buffalo mozzarella salad, and Iberian Black Pig Char Siu. I sampled a bit of everything, and they were all delicious, with the Summer BBQ steak standing out. For our main courses, we had monkfish, three Picanha steaks, and BBQ Maple chicken—again, everything was delightful, but the monkfish was truly exceptional. Our sides included truffle chips, rooster chips, tempura broccoli, and roasted sweet corn, all complementing the meal perfectly. Desserts featured sticky toffee pudding, burnt Basque cheesecake, grilled pineapple, chocolate with white port, and a cheese selection. I only managed to try the cheese, as everyone was enjoying their desserts too much to share! We enjoyed a few expertly crafted cocktails, the Quickening Shiraz from a thoughtfully curated wine list, and some dessert wines and port to accompany our sweets—all were fantastic. The portion sizes were just right, making three courses manageable. **Service:** This is where the family-run nature of the restaurant truly shines. The service is polite, friendly, attentive, and laid-back. Our visit felt leisurely, and I never felt rushed, even when the restaurant was busy. The staff checked in on us just the right amount to ensure we were enjoying our meals, and I truly appreciated that there was no pressure to order more drinks or any upselling—just a thoroughly enjoyable experience overall. **Additional Insights:** The restaurant is reasonably easy to access, with only a small step at the entrance, and the interior is spotless and well-maintained. The stone walls add to the charming atmosphere, and the rear wall has a unique texture that invites touch—you really have to experience it yourself. The restrooms are immaculate as well. **Disclaimer:** My wife and I have visited Jack O'Bryan's several times since moving to Dunfermline, and while we consider it a special treat, we often find ourselves looking for excuses to indulge a bit more frequently than we probably should. However, this consistency in the quality of food, service, and atmosphere is why we keep returning. **Final Tips:** The menu changes seasonally, so it’s a good idea to check their website to see what’s available. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially for weekends, as it’s essential to secure a table. Keep up the great work, Jack O'Bryan's!"
