Food after cinema, inexpensive and we were well looked after.

Superb decor, very friendly young waiters, choice of simple but quality menu

Waited 40 minutes to be served for drinks. Waited a further 30 minutes for steaks. Mediocre at best.

Visited last night (16th March). Food was great, really tasty but it was the service from Struan which really stood out. He was really informative and helpful, made the night even more enjoyable.

close to my office, elliot im apex hotel is a close second to Howie’s, on waterloo place. I had visited the hotel several times, not least for my friends mel milos high time recipe, but it was a good time since I had tried the restaurant. with the first snow of the season in the air, its proximity won the day so that I immersed to go it.

Last minute plans for dinner and it was a welcomed surprise. Garlic Pizza and Sticky Lemon Chicken starters were delicious. Had the Peppercorn Steak as a main and that was pretty solid as well! Also loved the Breast Cancer Charity when buying drinks. Can be a little hard to find since there wasn't a sign with the name anywhere but it's in the Apex Hotel passed the front desk to the right. Hopefully that helps!

we had a delicious meal in this beautiful restaurant. the personal was so attentive, especially our waiter. did not get his name, but he went over and over to make sure that everything was in order with our meal. this was exceptionally good value for money, and definitiw a visit worth. I've been here a few times now and it never stops surprising me how good it is and how good it is presented. we look forward to our next visit.

Food awful. Haggis ravioli starter was lukewarm at best. Fish and chip main course awful. Fish overcooked and batter very hard. Scottish Burger looked horrible and my friend left most if it. Very poor experience. Very disappointing and would not recommend. I ordered a drink from the bar and was charged 10% for delivery of drink as well as a service charge being added to food bill. Won't be back any time soon. Restaurant has definitely gone down hill.

we have booked one of the functional suites in the apex hotel on waterloo place for our office christmas, so while I still check the food, please note that this was for 26 people masseuse and is checked as such. the room we had was beautifully designed with our own Christmas tree, music and minibar. the usual crackers were laid out, but we also had some funny guards to wear, which certainly all messed up and posing for photos from the off set. we had all pre-ordered our foods so that no meals were consumed, but each cure had set a choice of three.
