good atmosphere, quiet, very tasty eating. we ordered 2 different inserts and both were very delicious. the prices are good!

... with very good local food at reasonable prices. Not too much choices on the menu, but everything is very fresh. Nice atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff.

A warm day we saw the side rear courtyard . A nice spot to stop for a quiet cold beer. We did not eat here but this looks like an interesting place. Some old photos inside give an insight into its history.

we are a large group of friends who visit the restaurant on the 19th february. we ordered and the food came an hour later. the waitresses were mean and behaved as if they wanted us to go. the eating was ok-mediocre and a bit...sufficient, the toilets had to have had a problem (water was black.)

... I have to downgrate this really nice restaurant: we've been there with English friends. All of us liked the food, the atmoshere, the service. Unfortunately, they don't accept cards. No cards - even not German debit cards, which usually can be done even in smallest restaurants everywhere in Germany.

We chose this restaurant after looking at many average sounding places, we chose mixed veg in a curry sauce with jasmine rice. What we got was exceptionally tasty and very good quality. The veg was very well cooked and wasn't at all oily or over done and the sauce was perfectly spiced and in a Thai style with hints of coconut. There was just the right quantity of food and was served neatly on the plate. This was washed down with some very reasonably priced red wine. A very good experience of great tasting food in Germany.

We went here for lunch during a day trip to Potsdam, it wasn't a planned visit, more a stumble upon, but a good stumble it proved to be. The place was mostly empty when we arrived ( a Sunday to be fair) but this certainly wasn't a comment on the food. I had the Wiener schnitzel and it was first class - tender, juicy and full of flavour, served with a generous helping of sautéed potatoes and salad. My companion had the standard schnitzel and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. If I was in Potsdam again I'd certainly go back and I'd have no hesitation in recommending it to a friend.

We had dinner for the first time at Der weisse Schwan and liked the different options on the menue. It might be a little difficult for vegetarians if you don't want to eat salad or soup all the time, but with the asparagus season right now you have additional tasty options. I had the liver and my boyfriend the matjes and we both liked our dishes a lot. When temperatures get warmer it is also possible to sit outside. Be prepared for tables who are arranged very closely together, which we found a bit too close and enjoying dinner in a private atmosphere is not the case.
