"Aufgrund einer Empfehlung und der vielen guten Bewertungen haben wir erwartungsvoll das Ammos in Kirchheim besucht. Un um es vorweg zu nehmen, es hat sich nicht gelohnt.Das Ambiente ist zwar ganz in Ordnung, allerdings sollten die Inhaber eingerissene Polsterbezüge erneuern, das trübt den Gesamteindruck. Der Service war höflich, das Essen kam schnell und der Ouzo aufs Haus kam schon vor dem Essen.Wir bestellten vier verschiedene Vorspeisen, die auf einer Platte serviert wurden. Geschmacklich am besten waren die Kolokithokftedes (Zucchiniplätzchen), der Rest war in Ordnung aber nicht mehr. Was aber gar nicht ging ware der Oktopus, den man auf dem Bild neben dem Knoblauchbrot sehen kann. Ein Teil des Fangarms, der zu lange gekocht wurde und zu stark nur nach Thymian schmeckte. Diese Miniportion (mehr war wirklich nicht dabei) schlägt dann mit 10,80 € zu Buche. Das ist unverschämt. Insgesamt haben wir für die vier Vorspeisen alleine 31,10 € bezahlt, das ist es nicht wert.Hätten wir es dabei belassen, wäre es noch einigermaßen in Ordnung gewesen, aber wir haben dann noch eine Fischplatte für 1 Person bestellt, welche wir uns geteilt haben. Noch ein Oktopus, siehe oben. Die Riesengarnele war nicht entdarmt, das geht in einem Restaurant gar nicht. Die Calamares waren etwas zäh. Und vor allem hat der gesamte Fisch stark verbrannt geschmeckt. Das war aber auch der ganze Geschmack.Die guten bis sehr guten Bewertungen könne wir nicht nachvollziehen, wir wurden maßlos enttäuscht. Eventuell kann man in Ammos gehen, um ein Tagesgericht oder aber nur Fleischgerichte zu bestellen. Fisch kann dieses Restaurant (außer zu teuer) nicht. Schade, aber wir gehen nicht mehr hin."

"I was looking for almost an hour for a dining room in Kirchheim, which could score visually and kulinarally with me and then hit the forest house. A small visually appealing outer area, not too large, easy to handle. The audience also attractive, no beer garden Klientel. The Waldhaus has an exclusive and varied menu. I ordered a Prosecco Aperol and Matjes with salt potatoes. The aperol was served in a sufficient glass and glittered beautiful, very refreshing. The dish was served on clean plates with logo and really very, very good cost. It served me waiter 1, a young lady, very friendly and attentive. The young man surpassed the whole service by asking if he was allowed to bring my Chihuahua water, I replied that I had already said to the colleague. What I don't like is that the young woman put all records together when the other tables were cleared, but in today's time you must be satisfied as a gastronomy if you find service personnel at all. All in all, it was a nice hour and we will definitely visit the forest house more often. Thanks for the hospitality that is not self-evident today. I didn't have to fill out a note with the personalities. I'll eat more often and it's been like this in every place, even outdoors. Update: 09.09.2020 Today everything was unfortunately not good what can happen. Unfortunately, the young trained restaurant expert today had released what was clearly noticeable in the service. The boss is very hospitable and oriented very much towards the wishes of the guests and on request even included lines Aquavit in the program."

"Nicht nur der Fakt, dass das Restaurant in meiner unmittelbaren Umgebung ist, macht es zu einem meiner Lieblingsorte in Kirchheim. Der Geschmack des Essens passt immer und viele der vegetarischen Gerichte sind auch in veganer Form zu bekommen was für mich entscheidend wichtig ist. Ganz besonders möchte ich noch erwähnen, dass das Personal unglaublich nett ist und sogar die Bereitschaft signalisiert hat, auch (wenn es die Lage zulässt) eine kleine Einführung in die indische Küche zu geben was für eine tolle Geste!"

"Just MEGA! They were received by a nice young man. Very friendly we were served. Choosing a food is hard. The food was very delicious and very beautifully dressed. The wine very suitable. DANKE!!!! We liked it very well and we will take the way out of Schorndorf again."
