Coasters At The Dunes

21 of us had a great day at Coasters. Special birthday was made even better by the great service and nice food.

introduce yourself, with a roasted 1 cauliflower, 2 small stem brokkoli, 2 petite kartoffels with 10 gr spinats sauce and pay £14.25 in an average looking restaurant. it didn't work for me.

We arrived here early Monday evening . It was miserable and windy outside , but as soon as we stepped inside the restaurant it was warm, welcoming, and cosy. I opted for the hock terine, then the salmon , delicious, cheerful service . Value for...money , Thank You for a lovely evening . m

we rolled up at the Dunes without a booking ... Staff said no problem very polite and friendly Nice lunch for two of us with a couple of wines. Food was lovely restaurant is delightful with views out over the hills. Price was...fine. Been here a few times and never been disappointed. Thank you Dunes . . .

Was there recently for an 18th gathering. There were 25 of us placed around tables probably suited to a maximum of 20 and therefore very uncomfortable and we were also under pressure from the Manager to hurry along as he said there was a party following us which there wasn't, the room stayed empty when we vacated!

We really enjoyed our lunch today. Two of us had the fish and chips. Wonderfully light batter. Nice fish, crisp chips. Two had the venison sausages and needed a doggy bag as could not eat all. Provided with no problem. Ordered extra veg which is advisable. Relaxed unobtrusive service. Not hassled to leave! We will visit again.

A party of twelve of us went for a birthday celebration. We pre ordered our meals and were booked in for 1.30pm. We finally got our meal at 2.30, and at varying intervals. The food was tasty enough, but barely warm, and very few veg on plates of those that had Sunday roast. We were all somewhat disappointed with service and length of wait, although management did compensate us, it did not quite make up for disappointment with meal.

My mum had a gift voucher bought for her birthday so decided to take me along for a treat. We had never been before but will definitely go again. We sat in the conservatory which had a lovely view. The staff were very friendly. We...decided on the chicken chorizo pie. It was delicious. The chips were the best I've tasted. Nice chunky, crispy on the outside soft fluffy on the inside. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the Al dente broccoli, it tasted nice but a bit too hard for my liking. Would have loved a pud but was far too full so just had a latte which again was very nice.

Came today for Sunday Lunch, lovely premises after the latest refurbishment. Not very busy with one large party in and three or four other tables, friendly efficient service, drinks orders taken quickly and served promptly. Sunday menu had choice 4-5 starters, four roasts a pasta...dish and veg option. Two of us had the mushroom starter, the garlic bread accompanying was delicious, mushrooms very pleasant but not a strong flavour of Stilton. We then had two roast beefs and a pork. The beef was very nice, lovely and tender with a good portion and loads of veg, the pork was described as served with cackling and apple sauce, unfortunately the crackling had been forgotten and the apple sauce was...
