Lovely country pub, great garden and outdoor eating space, tasty food and delicious paella and fish night. A great find!

yesterday had a fantastic frying at coach and horses. large portions eat and cooked exactly right. best brat I had outside of home. like arnie. I'm back.

Lovely friendly staff, always so welcoming! The food is so tasty and prices are reasonable. Beautiful outdoor area also fit for both summer and winter which most places don’t have. Looking forward to returning :

the football played in the newgate street last season and had seen it there. for birthday dinner. great eating to be reasonable. friendly staff. large garden where my daughter could walk around. will return definately.

I and my husband had a Sunday roast yesterday, I had chicken and he had bark. both were guilty and plentiful. the sweet was cooked to perfection and the bratkartoffels were beautiful, slightly crispy as we like them and actually tasted them like kartoffels. the deserts were also delicious. the staff was very friendly and accommodating as we had not booked a table. we will definitely return and we will recommend this beautiful country pub.

this is a real old village pub that we like to visit regularly, especially in summer as it has a large beer garden, ideal for families. Unfortunately, he had lost his identity in the last few years. the pub is now under new management, which has made a difference to the atmosphere. the staff welcome the local now friendly. more importantly, they have a new cook that is recruited by a local hotel, which goes back to their previous high standards. a new menu is now available, the food is delicious hot, the service quickly everything in its great value for money. definitely worth a visit if they are in the opposite. very recommended.

This restaurant is exceptional. We arrived without a reservation and couldn't get a table for 5 at 6:30 pm because it was so busy. We decided to enjoy a beer on the front patio while we waited for our takeaway order. We had a variety of dishes including chicken satay, vegetable spring rolls, dim sum, tempura prawns, salt and pepper chicken wings, crispy aromatic duck, Thai green chicken, massaman chicken curry, sweet and sour chicken, and beef in oyster sauce. Everything was absolutely delicious. The only downside was not being able to leave a tip due to not having a reservation. We will definitely be making a reservation in advance for our next family gathering. Thank you for a wonderful ex...

We had booked for lunch in the cube. However, when we arrived, we were bumped out of the cube into the “snug” (AKA the bar), due to the fact that it was raining and they had two private parties booked for the garden which meant that they had to move one to the cube and the other to the restaurant. If you make a “garden” booking then you plainly accept the risk that it might rain: you cannot disregard the bookings of multiple other customers purely for the monetary benefit of satisfying a large party who have voluntarily chosen to book outside on a rainy day. When we spoke with the landlady she was incredibly rude and told us “there is nothing wrong with our snug”, and that she was “too busy”...

Well….where do I start!!!!! After reading many of the already horrendous reviews for this place ….I was compelled to be as honest as I could. Seemed really nice to start with and after being cooped up for so long due to the restrictions , we were really looking forward to a nice night out with friends. The food smelt lovely but we had incorrect dishes , dishes missing , and when we asked politely twice, the attitude of the staff wasn’t great in the slightest. We know mistakes happen and feel we were as accommodating and understanding as possible but when you as the customer should be right to a degree you don’t expect the staff to give attitude to you.
