Cafe Rouge Reigate - Menu

Great dinning here and the quality of food is very good and we enjoyed the dishes with great pleasure and cannot wait to come back again

I had a great evening with friends at this restaurant. Unfortunately, they did not have any record of my reservation. Thankfully, it was not very busy so it did not end up being a problem.

Good service, convenient location on the street, food was very good, decent selection of menu and drinks options. The restaurant has a high feeling. Was able to get the flavor card for a 2 for 1 deal as we visited in the week, so worked very affordable.

Been here twice now, for a two person visit and then 8 people visit, the staff were such kind people each time and very funny and helpful. I loved this place and would definitely go again. It can be seen as being a bit on the pricey side however it is well worth it for its quality.

The place was less than half full and there were 4 staff working, but it took forever to get menus, then another agree to place an order, so I decided to just have coffee and not order food. Getting the bill was also a painfully long experience, so I really cannot give any positives based on my experience.

Delicious authentic French food. Despite being more of a restaurant than a café, the staff have a very personable, welcoming patter with customers, which does give the feel of a more intimate venue. The Poulet Breton, Boeuf Bourguignon and cheese board were stunning. :-D. Good to see the immaculately turned out Head Chef getting amongst it and mopping the floor in the kitchen, too!

Cafe Rouge has become pricey for a casual gathering. The smaller, yet intriguing menu is now only available before 5pm, limiting choices. The wine is expensive and the Reigate branch seems to be cutting costs on heating, as it was cold at 7pm and got even colder as the evening went on. Despite meeting here for many years, we have decided to find a new spot for our next get together. It's a shame, as it is a charming venue with easy parking on the street. Overall, it is a nice place to meet, but recent changes have made it less appealing.

The waitress seemed quite helpful when we first arrived but she was very short with my mum when she asked a question, took ages to come back and take our food order after we had ordered drinks and was generally unavailable during our time there this was quite upsetting as it was my daughter's 6th birthday so a special occasion and there were 11 of us there; the restaurant wasn't even busy (there were only about 6 other tables occupied) I found this very unusual for this place, normally really good service (in fact, I went with my daughter the week before which is why she chose that place for her Birthday meal)

Had the worst experience I’ve ever had to endure in a restaurant. Had booked for a Christmas dinner with friends and the service and food was so appalling I’m not being dramatic when I say it ruined the event. The waitress we had didn’t care at all about us and made it obvious she was frustrated with our presence despite us being friendly and communicative. The chef has obviously given up and produced some of the saddest looking plates I’ve seen. No effort had gone into producing the food; items missing, no garnishes, plain. We did not complain however. Then at the end we were accused of being short on the bill, yet we could see they had not accounted for someone who had already paid and lef...
