"Chose dishes, my choice was not available, we were not told this when the menu was handed out. Bread was stale. Main course took an hour to arrive. When it did arrive one plate which was burger and chips was cold. Baked salmon was under seasoned but fine apart from that. One member of staff who looked a key member was very scruffy and not dressed professionally. We aired our disappointment at the food , (as were other customers)the manager did not come over to apologise to us or other complaining tables but did knock the price of the wine off. Thank you."

Café Rouge was very good considering the reservation I made through Open table had not gone through to the restaurant. I did print off the confirmation and they did accommodate us and the service was excellent/

We always feel assured that the dining experience will be enjoyable at this restaurant. Even though it was busy on a Sunday, the staff provided excellent, error-free service with patience, efficiency, and friendliness.

Visited this restaurant with family for our Silver Wedding anniversary. There were 15 of us including 5 children. Staff were brilliant and even gave us a bottle of champagne. Everybody enjoyed their meals and we all said we would go back again.

I always enjoy Cafe Rouge. They have great offers, excellent and very friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I love using my Tesco points when dining with a group. The food is served quickly and hot, not warm. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

Live music was very good and created a good atmosphere. The staff were very pleasant. I had fish which was lovely if a little over crisp, but the chips were very heavily salted and the peas were minty/vinegarish; to follow the coffee was indescribable not in a good way!

Eating took a long time to come especially with a 5 year old and 2 years old! service was not existent and when it finally came, it was not very nice!!we had gay burger, angus burger and sausage and maische for children pulled! will not go back there! $50, they would have a better meal at mcdonalds and cheaper!

Disappointed with lunch. Starter pleasant, steak frites unexciting , dessert coffee cake deal OK but only 2 cakes offered on choices available, fortunately 1 of those was what I wanted. I didn't like the way disable toilet opened right into main dining area, but realise that this is unavoidable in this type of building.

Had a Virgin Express Experience voucher and although the menu for this was ok the main course was very basic as we didn't realise vegetables were not included and we would have had to pay extra. Also found out after we left that the value of food and 1 glass of wine was £12.34 less than the voucher value. So not impressed.
