"We had a brilliant 40% off main course voucher which made the meal very reasonably priced. Unfortunately we booked our table at Cheshire Oaks when the Christmas Lights were turned on and Radio City had a band and disco on. Café Rouge did not have enough staff to cope with demand leaving us waiting a while for our starter, main course and drinks. Could not fault the staff. The did their best and remained cheerful but were just overwhelmed by the amount of people wanting feeding. Would go again but plan the time a bit better."

On Valentine's night, we experienced great service complemented by excellent musicians and a friendly staff.

I had a delightful breakfast before heading out to the shops. The service was friendly and efficient, perfectly meeting our needs.

Our pot of teas was a not hot enough and our beans on the dull breakfast were cold. Maybe they shouldn't be in a cold mini pan. We changed to coffee as the tea felt stewed. Meeting for brunch.

The restaurant was closed when we got there due to a gas leak. We were not co tacked before hand and were told they would phone the next day to advise if they were open but they didnt. Very poor customer service.

We had a lovely meal, although the menu was a bit limited due to it being Black Friday weekend. They were very busy, and some items were sold out. However, we did manage to have a beautiful steak. The waitress was excellent.

even though I had pre-booked a table, the waitress looked blank at me. The service was very slow and the food was cold. if you wanted a top up of a cup of tea you were charged the normal cost for one cup!! I will not be recommending this at all

Waiter, although friendly and not a bad person, was referring to women as girl and said to another table I 'll get your scran in a minute . Also waited 45 mins for dessert when they were no longer busy. Did get a complimentary coffee/tea, but should really have been the dessert, which incidentally was very good. Overall good ambience, probably not likely to return.

"Our first experience at a Zizzi… We arrived at 12:30 on a Saturday expecting the place to be packed but happily we managed to get a table straight away we had a nice booth tucked away in the corner. I visited the toilets first of all which, let me just say.. the corridor definitely took me by surprise! Each toilet is in its own little room with your own personal sink, I think it’s the best way to have public toilets. First of all, we ordered drinks which was 2x glass bottle cokes which are the best type our drinks came with a complimentary portion of pasta crisps. We ordered a cheesy garlic bread without the caramelised onions for starter which arrived pre sliced and was really delicious, it could’ve done with a little more cheese though. For mains, my partner had spaghetti bolognese and I had the pepperoni campagna pizza with added chicken. The pizza was delicious, a little unbalanced on the toppings, it was nice and full on the right side of the pizza compared to the left side but I was full by the time I reached that side anyway! Bonus points for the mini pizza cutter, that was brilliant. The food was generally good, my partner said the spaghetti needed a little salt to bring the flavour out but it was a good sized portion and both meals were made with quality ingredients. During the main course, I ordered a couple of “softail” drinks; the Pineapple Punch and the Passion Fruitini I wasn’t very impressed with these, they were far too sweet and mostly filled with ice, I just expected more for from two drinks that cost £9.90. The staff were generally friendly, we did keep hearing one of the chefs shouting at one of his co workers, something about a metal bowl but he was very loud and aggressive not something you want to have on show if you’re going to have a open kitchen in your restaurant. We used the QR code to pay our bill which was a nice and easy way to do it."
