"My starter was supposed to be Escargots for which I got a plate of garlicky mushrooms with a few tiny pieces of snails, so the dish was completely inaccurate in its description and would most certainly not have been acceptable by French standards. I was told by the waitress that other diners had complained about the dish but I did not get any response from their Head Office which I approached. I won't be going back to Café Rouge !"

Attended for our Anniversary which a couple had treated us to which we selected a restaurant and was great value for money. Friendly staff and food is amazing ! Had the set menu for £12.95 2 course meal.

We dined with our two kids after a busy work week. All of us were tired. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was tasty and satisfying. We went home happy after a meal to a well deserved sleep.

There was a musical duo playing who were very good but slightly too loud. We had gone to have a catch up with each other and it was sometimes difficult to hear. It seemed to get easier to hear through the evening so perhaps we got used to it. The food choice was good and as we had a 50% off voucher it was very good value food.

The musical duo at the restaurant was very talented, but the volume was a bit too loud. We found ourselves having to speak loudly to hear each other at times. However, as the evening went on, it became easier to hear, so we may have just gotten used to it. The food selection was great and everything we ordered was delicious. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience.
