Only about a 20 minutes Metro train ride from Central Berlin, and about 8 minutes walk there after, it is a journey well worth taken for the experience. The dinning room is super charming. The handwritten menu showcases the daily offerings. We tried the beet salad, spring rolls, braised pork cheek and roast duck breast. All were flavorful, well seasoned and best of all, you can truly taste the freshness of the ingredients. The price is very reasonable and in my honest opinion, excellent value for money. This is my kind of place to eat, unpretentious and good honest cooking."

I have long been so intrigued by a gas house. the tables were excellent and the chairs were very comfortable. for palate friends, there's a lot of fun here. the quantities are in a good and saturating size. in the local you get both: friendly and fleet waiter.

Überragend gutes Essen, faire Preise, tolle Atmosphäre (drinnen wie draußen), super netter Service was will man mehr?! Wir hatten alle unterschiedliche Gerichte, die alle fantastisch waren, ebenso wie der Nachtisch und die Getränke. Hundertprozentige Weiterempfehlung wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!

This was definitely worth making a reservation for and you need one. I had three courses and everything was prepared with care and tasted great. It is difficult to get duck right and mine was cooked perfectly. The owners are also very nice people. I can speak German but I heard the co-owner patiently explaining the menu in English to other customers.

Well worth a visit the only downside is they only accept cash. I had the asparagus soup and a rump steak thought the price was reasonable. You must get the soup it was very good probably the best I have ever had. The rump steak was good but just a let down after the soup was just expecting more after the soup. They are very helpful as the menu is in german but they translated it for me so thank you! They also made sure i had everything i needed it deserves the rating it has!
