"One of our favourite places to eat out, for a romantic meal or family occasion. Always a friendly welcome and shown to a table with menus almost immediately, we’re never left waiting. Properly home-cooked food, cooked fresh and never takes very long to come out, even when they seem very busy. Huge portions and fantastic value! My favourite meal is the steak with peppercorn sauce and every time I order, it is cooked to perfection (Med-Rare). I’ve tried the fillet, rump and sirloin. Recently I had the lamb shank for the first time when we came for Sunday lunch and it just melted off the bone, absolutely amazing! My husband had the turkey which was so moist, not dry at all. We ordered a side of cauliflower cheese, which was easy enough for 2 people and is to die for! We also recently had the barbecue pulled pork Parmesan, which did not disappoint either! We are yet to try out the midweek offer menus, which I imagine are very popular, as it’s all the best of British food and even more fantastic value. Ticks every box, every time! Highly recommend a visit."

This place is very popular, the staff are so friendly and helpful, there's a slight wait for food but it's worth the wait. The way in which it is presented is different but highly pleasing. 10/10 keep up the good work.

I couldn't blame for eating, but when we booked, we weren't told about a 50 party. the service at the bar was overwhelmed, the waiting queue was outside the door into the parking space, and while in the waiting queue the others were immediately served by the sides. no real organization.
