Love this restaurant if you like Indian food this is definitely 1 of the best I have tasted being a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to Indian cuisine and great staff

Had a takeaway tonight due to family problems and it was just as good as eating in ,both my wife's and my food was fantastic no waiting arrived on time and piping hot will be back Voir le carte

Came to this restaurant with my family on Christmas , there was 10 of us, the service and the food was a 11/10! Everyone was so nice and very helpful and the food was to die for! Will defo be back here again!

From the friendly welcome to the excellent service and food it was fabulous from start to finish. We were a table of 9 our food arrived altogether and it did not disappoint. The facilities were clean and well maintained.

Excellent food and service. Regularly get take away delivered to Gainford and always tasty and hot. Staff are lovely and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Been using these since they were in the old spot and it’s a nice treat to travel into town to dine in the restaurant spot on Voir le carte

Had a GREAT time,last Saturday 6th Jan,to be greeted and treated,as we were by owners and staff,was a warm welcome,to ourselves and friends,who joined us,for the evening together,we found the food and hospitality to be faultless,thank you to all at Akbar,we will certainaly be eating with you again.

Wow what a place! Amazing food with top class service and such friendly atmosphere and hospitality. Would definitely recommend whether it be with friends or family and the food is absolutely amazing. We went for the nawabi khana chicken and the parsi lamb with mushroom rice and garlic cheese nan which was melt in your mouth! The place itself is very clean and the staff are always up for banter. Would highly recommend and will say best in Darlo by a mile

Visited here for the 2nd time for a family meal. Restaurant was warm and inviting and everything clean and sparkling. Drinks were brought quickly and soon after orders were taken. Our Poppodoms arrived and we tucked in. One of the waiters overheard my son saying that he could eat two, so he brought him an extra. Great customer service. Each and everyone of us complimented the food, my Pathia was nice and spicy, just how I like it, not dull and boring like some. Will definately be back soon for more Voir le carte
