brilliant eating and fast service. some of the most beautiful pub food we've ever eaten, really friendly staff and a great atmosphere. very dog friendly also what a bonus is!

on a Sunday called who didn't expect us to sit because we didn't book, but the staff was the most helpful and found us a table. the roast was excellent, will definitely be back to this friendly pub with great food Voir le carte

The staff were really nice and helpful. My friend didn't have a great choice of vegetarian meals but the waitress went to talk to the chef and a meal was organised. I just wanted soup and chips and that was no bother either. Well done all concerned.

a chance to foot, very friendly welcome and found us a table although they were busy. eating was excellent, great service. the steak and the mushroom pelt in the mouth, best we had in a long time. Double chocolate brownie was heavenly. before and will be definitiw back.

Brilliant place on a rainy Sunday afternoon, the atmosphere and food is outstandingly wonderful, Sunday roast to die for, better than the food at the Officers Mess anyday ,great choices and varied even with different types of dietary and reflux problems, it should be 7 stars . the first time here is a beautifully decorated, tasteful romantic pub/restaurant. the staff was very friendly and helpful. eating was excellent with the taking of the king prawn starter who needed to develop more than a dish, the taste lacked something and the presentation was a bit basic. the wine selection was excellent and coffee hot and beautifully flavored. we had a nice evening.

We booked a table last minute via the booking App, we brought our dog in too as we didn't want to leave her in the car. We were placed on a really big table with plenty of room for us and the dog and was very well attended to. Great starters which came out in really good time and the main courses were really nice too. We live fairly local and will be back a lot more knowing how accommodating all the team were.

It was very lovely. The staff we courteous, even when I was a bit rude to them. I didn 't mean to it just came out wrong and I thought it was a bit rude. The fish and chips were really great, some of the nicest I 've had for a while. I would definitely return and it 's a great poshish pub if you wanted something to eat. I was very full and waddled out. The vegan choice was also excellent. Whilst I 'm not vegan, I did use to be and they had a vegan dessert which I had and it was very tasty. I opted to have ice cream with it instead of the sorbet, but the tart was delicious. I would definitely recommend. Voir le carte
