"Our local pub is thriving under new management. Vanessa and Nathaniel and family have settled in very well . We have eaten and drunk in the Bottle Glass frequently sine they took over and have thoroughly enjoyed our meals there and the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Lovely warming open log fire. Dog friendly. A perfect place to stop if you’re visiting the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty."

Not the sort of pub you chance upon as it is a bit off the beaten track. However you will want to return. Good food and beer in traditional country pub surroundings.

We stayed at the Bottle and Glass in Picklescott and and from the moment we walked through the door were made to feel very welcome, the 17th century country pub is very picturesque, the food was of a high standard, the staff were attentive and our room was clean and cosy.

Utterly disappointing. This pub has so much potential yet it is wasted on the rude service, dirty surroundings and poor atmosphere. We found the owners to be uncomfortable and unnatural hosts. Vanessa was snotty and discrouteous. Attention to detail is lacked with the tables in the bar being dirty and staff just marching past??
