Small place but has a good menu and lovely food You can take home anything you can’t eat. Great service

First time at the Board Rock. Lovely meal and excellent service. 3 people had Scami, Mac and Cheese and Chicken Curry. We’ll be back.

I believe the meal was definitely worth the price. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxed, making it a great place to bring kids. We will definitely return.

Went for lunch,so disappointing, ordered beer battered haddock,when it arrived the Batter was dryed out and falling off the over cooked dryed out fish,the chips had been salted on the plate before being served which I never add salt, this made me thirsty all afternoon.the peas were fine.meals used to be lovely here, what's happened??

As a long-haul truck driver, I stopped by this restaurant in search of a dinner. However, I was informed that food was not available that day due to a funeral wake. The bar staff kindly suggested I visit the neighboring chippy and even allowed me to bring my meal back to the bar to enjoy, which was a pleasant change from eating in my truck.
