I also indulged in a Bakewell tart with ice cream which didn't deliver the standard of the pie, sorry. I followed my meal with a pot of very good tea served in a pot which was sufficient for 2 cups. The bar was tastefully decorated for Christmas and the atmosphere was very festive. The toilets were very clean as were the premises. A very pleasant visit, thank you. We had lunchtime at the Blacksmiths, very pleasant service but I got the wrong meal, as I would have to wait I accepted the meat dinner even though I ordered fish, the waitress was very present so we let it go, it wasn't as nice as I would have liked, the sweet was delicious and well presented.
