Bellpepper Hyatt Regency Mainz

This restaurant is one of my favorite restaurant in Mainz. It’s bit pricey. But if anyone want to celebrating something or someone, it’s one of recommend restaurant. Nice interior, quality service and beautiful location near by main river!!

Decided for a meat dinner starting with the fantastic tartar and followed by a T-bone respectively sirloin. All meats were very tasty and grilled at perfect temperature. The service was good and attentive. Nice wine selection, but a little pricey.

We ate here for lunch because the menu looked great and the views are spectacular. It was a mistake. One entree and the appetizer were good but not great. The pasta entree was awful. No seasoning, mussels and pasta way overcooked. Worst of all was...the service. We spent half our meal without anything to drink and no server in sight. Voir le carte

I came with my husband to Mainz for first time, I was expecting for a formal service but it was that and more friendly staff and amazing food, Mainz as a wine city it's one of the best, you have to try German wines, and...here they have a master list, Robert made this experience wonderful give the right advice for every moment of our meal. Great experience, definitely I will come back.

The food quality are all very pleasant and good. The view of the river are absolutely amazing. Almost every staff are friendly. However, there's one staff named Stella, she was very unfriendly,rude and have bad attitude towards the customer. I dont feel she is welcoming...anyone. She refused me to be seated in her area, and she was asking me why I have to be sitting in her zone. And then, she didn't offer any drink like what the server usually did. So, then I needed to ask by myself. She shown me a pissed face and rolling her eyes in front of me. Very upset about her service. I know it's nothing wrong about the food and the other staff, it's only her!!!!

I have been coming here for years, and the Bellpepper Team never disappoints. Fresh ingredients, thoughtful flavor pairings, and a professional and friendly wait staff. They treat you like a regular, no matter if it’s your first time of your The Hyatt Burger is...one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, and has become a staple of mine. The pasta with lobster tail was a delightful party on the palate. I wanted more! The steaks are always cooked to perfection. Outside seating is relaxing as you can watch the people gather along the Rhein. Inside is cool and romantic. If you’re ever in Mainz, recommend having lunch or dinner here. It's a pleasure to be back here again after years. I came to this restaurant for breakfast. The buffet has plenty of selections and champagne too. Apart from the nice breakfast I had, I would like to specially mention about the service from Christina...who served me at that time. She has done an exceptional service by listening to my needs, being attentive at all times and most importantly she always smiles. She also gave me respond every time I say thank you and I really appreciate people who always do that simple and basic manner. This restaurant in the Hyatt Hotel is visually delightful with large floor to ceiling windows, glass roof over much of it, open kitchen in good weather outdoor seating with a view to the Rhine River. The decor is elegantly subdued yet modern. Menu items...are modernized classics. I found their Caesar salad generous in portion and delicious. It was white asparagus season and the version I ordered with salmon was perfectly cooked: the fish, the asparagus and the potatoes. The Béarnaise sauce on the side lacked a tangy balance but I easily corrected that with a slice of lemon. ...locate in the Hyatt hotel and facing the Rhine river, this restaurant offers a quite expensive yet fabulous brunch. There is nothing you cannot have...starting in the morning with the more traditions breakfast stuff and getting a full lunch buffet towards later. We arrived pretty...late so we only had the “lunch” part of the brunch...linguine with truffles (a lot, just as I like them), Roastbeef, king prawns, risotto, the greatest burrata you can think of, you name it. Dessert was excellent, too, especially the bread pudding with peaches and vanilla sauce, but also the rhubarb cake and the mango cream.
