"Birthday food at @tabernamikelbengoa. Enjoyed on site and food. an ode to the product in quality and quantity.After excellent dining experiences in japos, michelines, etc. sit in a hamlet to eat a juicy tomato with ventresca, a rich and good sized mollejas, some artichokes that are disposed of in the mouth. And a bass of the best we've ever had a chance to taste... it's been a real wonder. the very tender and juicy single, at its point, we couldn't finish. We asked for a cheesecake to try those desserts we saw passing in front of our eyes, and we loved it. for a little comment. the bread, normal and might seem excessive to raise a 1,2kg bass for two people, when we were 3, and perfectly with the fish we would have eaten the 3. wine, a fermented white @bodegascampillo in barrel, fruity and easy to drink. Thank you for the invitation to the herbal shot, the detail of the anchovies with aove, and the account in your measure. We will certainly return to enjoy the other dishes of the menu."

"De verdad que muy bien. Superó mis expectativas. El servicio y atencion eficaz. El camarero que nos atendio muy majo. Trabajadores atentos, educados y amables. En general el servicio correcto. La comida esta bien. Tradicional y casera. Los chipirones en su tinta muy ricos! Hay variedad de platos de temporada y postres. Buena calidad precio. Esta muy bien de precio la verdad. No me ha paracido nada mada caro. El lugar está bien. Hay mucho espacio y diferentes salas donde comer. Lugar adaptado para personas de movilidad reducida, lo que es de agradecer. Aunque en el baño las sillas de ruedas más voluptuosas no entran!!"

"We did stay in the village here and this restaurant was really just around the corner. Lots of outside tables on sunny days and nice tables inside in the light and bright wintergarden. Also a bar area to have a casual after work drinks or so. We came here twice for dinner. After the first nice we were so impressed that we made a second reservation right away. Our Bulldog was welcome inside as well. Manolo the owner and his staff did a fantastic job. Made us feel welcome and at home. Took care of us very well and were very very attentive. The food here is excellent. Might cost a bit more than other options in the village, but you get real quality on the plates here. Combined with a really nice and relaxed atmosphere. Some dishes we've had were: Foie Gras (wonderful sized mi cuit Foie; high quality) Steak with Foie (perfectly tender cut of beef with nice Foie) Deep fried Mollejas (offal the gizzard of the beef, definitely worth a try, tasted fantastic) grilled shrimps (nice and fresh, perfectly cooked) Sukalki (a traditional Basque meat stew made with onions, carrots, choricero peppers, peas and potatoes) Chipirones en su tinta (squid in ink rare to find; a great item) They got some nice selection of wine here as well. By the bottle or glass. Every single dish was a piece of art. All perfectly cooked. The cook here is an absolute master. Kudos to that man! The Foie was so good, we ordered it both evenings. And they also bake their own bread here. At just 3.50 a piece (and it's a whole loaf). So crispy, so fluffy. Perfection. Bought one to bring home for breakfast even. It's one of these really perfect restaurants. Not just one of the best in Spain. One of the very best we've ever been at."

"Fuimos a comer en familia, habíamos reservado y todo genial, rápido,todo estaba buenísimo chipirones ,pollo asado,cachopo, entrecot.....y wl servicio pese a estar repleto de clientela el trato hacia con nosotros mejor imposible muy amables y atentos por todo ello recomiendo la CERVECERA JATAPE."

"Hemos ido sin reserva. Nos han dicho que no había pollo pero cuando estábamos terminando sacaron un plato de pollo a una pareja que acababa de llegar, y según comentó sin reserva ni nada.... el servicio pésimo, la camarera más mayor no es nada agradable. Las raciones muy caras y sobre todo muy escasas. El sitio podría estar muy bien pero no lo cuidan nada. Es una pena pero no volveremos Food: 1"
