"I've been passing this restaurant for years. The name of Schatti and much praise I have often heard, but I have never returned there. Now we spontaneously thought that you could go there for dinner, because it's a piece outside the city and you don't have to make the march of the shooter in the city center that took place today in the city. The hotel is located directly in a one-way street next to the AKH, you must of course have luck with the parking lot, or just parking on the paid parking lot of the hospital. The weather was great and so we decided to run the beer garden behind the building. I was really surprised how big this is. Smaller and larger tables stood everywhere and under a huge (I think chestnuts) tree there was a very cozy seating group. Of course this was already occupied, so we moved back to the garden, as we had everything in sight, but could also talk undisturbed. For children a small playground is created which I find especially good. The service was quick and friendly and so we got our drinks and our delicious Celler Roulade. They're just in Celle. But where it comes exactly and why it is eaten raw is unfortunately not really known, but it should be given since the post-war period and the father of the rohen Roulade should have been Fritz Krohne, who has operated in Celle the Inn Krohne (now Dackels Krohne). Even Bud Spencer has already tried the Celler Roulade and found it well. In some restaurants it also means lion flour. When I first saw the Roulade, I was irritated and shocked as it was raw to eat....but I tried and since I loved it. After our plates had already been cleaned, I would have liked to have another drink, but this time, unfortunately, none of the ladies were apparently willing to come back to us, let alone looking in our direction. That's why we waited for the entrance after 15 minutes and paid there. Nevertheless, there are 5 stars, because the location and the food were really great and I will definitely come back. Next time, maybe even with Pelzsau."

Mit der MX5 Runde hier abends geselligen Abend verbracht. Das Essen, Spiegelei mit Bratkartoffeln, war rustikal lecker. Die Getränke günstig, die Bedienung zuvorkommend und schnell. Das WC war sauber und hell. Hier komme ich gerne wieder!

Das Schattauer liegt direkt neben dem Krankenhaus von Celle. Hier gibt's einen wirklich herrlichen Biergarten mit urigen dicken Holzbänken. In der Frühlingssonne ging es uns bei Eisbein, Gulasch und Bier richtig gut hier. Wenn im Sommer hier alle 250 Garten-Plätze belegt sind, dürfte es ganz schön lustig zugehen hier. :-) Voir le carte

Meine Frau und ich haben auf meinem Geburtstag abends dort gegessen da das Restaurant im Hotel (zum Glück) geschlossen war. Ein 300gr. Rumpsteak und einen Fischteller. Das Essen kam schon nach relativ kurzer Wartezeit; da war ich etwas skeptisch. Aber beides war sehr gut und auch reichlich. die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und trotzdem sehr schnell. Hier würden wir jederzeit wieder hingehen.

Wir wollten zu fünft Pfifferlinge essen.Ein Gedeck kam ohne Pilze und ein weiteres enthielt statt Pilzen Rösti. Die Pilze mußten nachgefordert werden, die nicht bestellten Rösti wurden nicht zurückgenommen. Eine dritte Bestellung bestand nur aus Pilzen mit Brot und wurde korrekt serviert. Für dieses Gedeck präsentierte die Bedienung eine Rechnung , in der außer Brot und Pilzen noch Eier und Rösti aufgeführt waren.Die Bedienung behauptete beharrlich, die berechnete Beilage sei tatsächlich serviert worden. Der Gast wurde somit genötigt, eine erheblich überhöhte Rechnung zu zahlen.

The purest disaster. Personals kien mouth protection, on the counter all sit tight. Drink, mix. Then the wrong food came from 7 people for 4 people. It was said that the meat is higher, and the many potatoes were ice cold. Not even from inside. The high quality meat was tasty and disgusting and the sauce came from a cartilage-resistant bag. Buffers for the little ones were from the Tk and applemus from the Tetra pack. 140€ for catastrophic foods. It would have cooked more cost-effectively and it would have cost at least. Being my first visit to this restaurant in Celle I was looking forward to a great traditional German meal. And the food did not disappoint at all. The service however ended on a terrible note. We asked our server to split the bill for us (there were four of us) she replied with an outright No. she then proceeded to calculate the bill so the respective parties could pay for their portions. Now she had some serious trouble here though the numbers were not big at all. So I offered her a calculator to help her as she didn't have one herself. A ten minute walk from the center of this picturesque town with all the half timbered houses NOT set up by Disney or Universal, but real four to five hundred years old, gets you to Schattauer with its huge Biergarten right next to the large hospital...(lots of parking space for all those already tired of walking the narrrow streets downtown . Tables are generously spaced among tall trees, and there is a small playground for children within sight but distant enough for the noise level to remain acceptable.
