This is a fantastic spot—a hidden gem in Alton! I highly recommend it to everyone. The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is even better. Honestly, 5 stars doesn’t even do it justice!

We stopped here for lunch after a morning at splash landings alton towers.... The staff were really friendly and welcoming and the food was absolutely fantastic. We will definitely be back thank you to all who works here

The restaurant is situated in a stunning location, just a stone's throw from Alton Towers. The gardens are beautiful, providing an ideal backdrop. The food is excellent, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We only had drinks and some snacks this time, but if we return, we’ll definitely consider staying overnight since they offer accommodations.

This is a fantastic venue for celebrating an anniversary. Lucy, the manager, is exceptional, and her team is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent, and the rooms are delightful – nothing was too much trouble for them. Just a note of caution: parents with small children should be vigilant, as the road and river near the hotel can be risky. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 5, the service a 5, and the location a 5. Hotel highlights: excellent value for money.

You're definitely paying a premium for the location here. The beer garden is spacious but lacks proper maintenance. The Bridge House restaurant rarely seems to be open, and food is only available from a take-out window. Everything is served in takeaway-style boxes. I didn’t order any food because £17.95 for a burger in a box seems outrageous, and I doubt the quality would justify it. We ordered drinks from the Talbot Inn, which appears to be connected to the Bridge House. The service was neither quick nor friendly, and our drinks arrived in disposable plastic cups.
