"the old betting office the old betting office in dresden, a secret tip, but rather with reservation because this is very well visited. we were at about 18 o'clock there on a Tuesday and got another table, but then the beer garden, which is very beautiful, was full and more and more people came. from outside it is rather inconspicuous but as said the beer garden is very cozy, at sunset and pleasant 25°, inside then the cozyness and the inviting ambiente continues, great it is all very clean and hygienic pure. the personal is very friendly, sympathetic and accommodating. it should also be in the corona time. we come to eat briefly full horny appetizer: a bread basket with berlei dip plus pesto and pagan butter. it could have been a bit more brot but the dips was very tasty. main food: there was once hokkaido and once wels dreamy delicious for palate and suck (sees itself) it was so good that we had the dessert lying at the side. you can see if you have a small selected changing menu, then you can also focus on it and focus on it. Conclusion: time and again when I am in dresden"

this little restaurant is such a jewel! beautiful creative dishes that change with the season. the decoration and the service is very “hipster”, but eating is top notch and the personal friendly (what more can you after nizza outdoor seating, but within it is quite simple. Come here if the weather is nice enough to dine outside.

from outside it looks old, not very inviting and down and so much more I like as soon as you enter the inn a beer garden, immediately the feel-good atmosphere becomes wide. So to eat out in the old wet office is highly recommended because of the green, rustic and super cozy ambiente. because of its popularity, it is important to reserve in advance. the menu changes weekly and eating is the hammer! I'm still sweating today and trying to be able to eat with friends again soon as possible. We've all 8 people totally warmed up by the super, delicate delicious regional meats and the experimental, fantastic unexpected, matching supplements. simply suuuuper delicious! always like! and the price is...

"I stayed at the hotel in which this restaurant is situated, it is on the 5th floor, and I passed it a couple of times but it was always empty. One reason, I think, is that the menu is rather obscure, with slashes between the dish description as inscallop/saffron/guava/back puddingA little off- putting, I felt. However, as a lone diner, I was getting pretty fed up of waiting for bad food each evening, although in a beautiful setting, Dresden's main square and its surrounds. So on my last night I treated myself and got a table on the roof terrace. The waitress was very helpful and friendly, and produced a good selection of bread. It's clear there are 5 courses, an appetiser, a hot starter, a soup course, a main and dessert. I didn't want the soup. This wasn't a problem. To start, I had quail's egg/chick/gorgonzola/rocket, but it was so much more than that! It had a delicious fried bread cube, a gorgonzola sorbet, and crumbled herbs to garnish. It was, superb. But the description is selling itself short! The hot starter was also good, scallops in a saffron sauce, with a black pudding jelly. The "guava" ends up on the dish as a smear, nothing more. My main was beef/capers/sour cherries/ smoked aubergine, but again, more- a delicious sauce, and perfect mash- a small amount, but perfect....There are 3 dessert options, I enjoyed a nougat with gold leaf. In all, the food was beautifully presented, and the best food in Dresden so far, on a par, that is, with Kallemeiers where you have to book a table. This place deserves the same popularity but is selling itself short with the odd menu descriptions. It scares people off, like myself. I urge you to go and try for yourself. There's a great evening to be had, in a stunning setting."
