Very good Cod Chips with buttered bread and tea for £8,50 not disable friendly toilets down stairs

Fantastic fish and chips just a few metres away from the harbour.. Only downside is the tables are on the small side if there's more than 2 of you. Also only take cash payments. But like I said the food is amazing.

we came as they opened and had the restaurant to us. the personal was friendly and our order was taken quickly. the food was freshly prepared and fast as they only cook for us. I am creepy with my fishing and chips that was delicious. would recommend it.

this basic fish and chip restaurant gives good value for money. we were quickly served by young, friendly staff and eating quickly arrived. The meals include a drink and broth and butter. the squid and chips were delicious. the restaurant looked clean and fresh. make sure that space for four adults sitting on a table can be tight, as tables are close. Excellent traditional Fish and Chip restaurant. We make a beeline for Alexeanders every time we go to Whitby. In fact we often make the journey from Teesside just to go to this restaurant. My husband and I are both pensioners, so we like value for money. I usually go for their Cod Bites, while ,my husband prefers the traditional Fish and Chips. The staff are all very friendly and the fish is cooked to order

I visited this fish n chip shop on a cold December day, good from the season. it wasn't busy. I had a big cod 'n chips, curry sauce with scrap and two slices brot. (of course I made a chip-butty, and it was delicious too. a curry sauce pot could be divided by two slightly, the fish was excellent and there was a good part of the beautiful chips. all in all, very happy with the place. the only negative are the most of the seats is good inside and down some steps, so that always a table with a view would be unlikely, especially I imagine if his busy. there are many tables that place 4 people. the loos are down in the cellar, did not notice any disabled facilities in the ground floor.

All in all, very happy with the place.
