"I have Coeliac Disease so we chose this place for breakfast as they had an abundance of gluten free options and was only a short walk from our hotel. I’m so glad we did as the staff were very friendly and attentive. Quick service. It was lovely to see that they were a dog friendly cafe as well (they even have a dog menu!! which was a lovely bonus to see all the lovely dogs enjoying some breakfast as well. I had the gluten free “Eggs a la swamp” which was poached eggs with a gluten free ciabatta roll, smashed avocado and a roasted tomato sauce. My non-gf partner had Eggs Royale. It was absolutely delicious and the poached eggs were cooked to perfection! Unfortunately we aren’t local but if we are ever back in Whitby, we would definitely go back!"

Great reviews on trip adviser , we weren’t disappointed, 4 different cooked breakfast all excellent , great service as well. On website it says closed Sunday , that is an error

Glad we found this place. We had a drink and a breakfast sandwich here. The staff had excellent knowledge about dietary requirements. I had a gluten free bacon, egg and hash brown bap for £4.95. Safe for coeliacs. Voir le carte

Lovely food that cater for many diets. Lovely Retro vibe throughout playing some banging tunes. Food was delicious on the first visit so decided to come again at a different time. Great selection of tea’s and even serve alcohol with food orders. I would recommend finding this little gem.

On a recent visit to Whitby we went to the Cranberry Swamp for breakfast, which had been recommended to us. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Friendly staff, quirky decor, and very tasty food. I chose poached eggs on toast with bacon and tomatoes. It was delicious. Perfect eggs, tasty bacon and tomatoes and lots of toast. Hubby chose a full english, which was also very generous and tasty. I had a couple of Americano coffees and hubby chose a pot of tea. Great place and would thoroughly recommend. If we'd had more time we would have visited again.
