Very cute and cosy restaurant, linguine was very tasty. It’s so nice to have a vegan food option in Whitby that isn’t a falafel burger!

at the Whitby-Jet Museum. we had the open scrap sandwich with apple and thymiansalsa with two cut chips. pleasant environment with a beautiful atmosphere and with nice and friendly staff. I recommend this menu.

I love eating at Alberts, it’s a lovely place, full of history and it’s wonderful to sit and have food whilst admiring a massive piece of jet studded with ammonites! The vegan options are always delicious and well thought out and the staff are always friendly.

we didn't eat here, but the menu looked great. it is a really beautiful Victorian building with original features original Victorian flowing. there are some beautiful games of whitby jet jewellery, carving and ornaments. there are also information about how the beam was formed, which was interesting. worth visiting when they are in whitby!

Beautiful hidden gem inside the renovated old Wesley Hall, just beyond the museum at the entrance. The feeling inside is much more expensive than the very reasonable prices and the atmosphere is welcoming and laid back. We had the large bowl of mussels each which were delicious , accompanied by a glass of lovely Rioja from the lunchtime menu but we will definitely be back sometime to sample the evening menu. Highly recommended

We were looking for somewhere that did something more exciting than (fried in vegetable oil) chips and we found it here. Although they specialise in seafood, whoever created the menu has clearly thought about different dietary requirements and has, as such, included a couple of vegan dishes. We both went for the pan fried gnocchi, which appealed, with its offer of 'vegan cheese '. It did not disappoint, although we found, as often, that vegan appetites were underestimated. Prices were quite high, but worth it for the beautifully decorated restaurant which has been recently restored.

The restaurant is housed in a beautiful building and is a really lovely place to dine . The staff were very friendly and attentive but the two vegan options we ordered only 2 on the menu were awful . My partner hates complaining and is a human dustbin normally but even he couldn’t finish this meal . He said his risotto tasted like someone had used a whole bottle of jiffy lemon . Mine was like ratatouille but the really bad ratatouille you get in cans . It wasn’t cheap and certainly not a great experience . Whitby is generally not great for vegans thank goodness we had an Airbnb flat so that I could cook . Not ideal as I was on holiday and didn’t want to have to cook but the options out were...
