We passed but there was no place we asked if later to free a table, they kindly called us later and we have lunch, excellent the first and the sweets, competent Gentiles. We'll be back soon.

It is the first restaurant tried in Asti and was a good start. Excellent Piedmontese mixed appetizer. Indeed, we also waited a bit but we are on holiday... and then compensated for the kindness and sympathy of the owner.

I took the albacco menu and was pleasantly amazed. Tri of appetizers very good to emphasize veal tonnato really good As first dish the tajer of porcini practically of the excellent tagliatelle very fine with porcini But the exceptional dish from 5 stars is the braised to the foggy. He deserves to come.

Cute place, proposes various fixed menus and excellent à la carte menu, excellent foods of Piedmontese tradition, fast with the appetizer and the first, they lost in bringing us the second waiting 1/2. Plauso x the kind maid who apologized x delay of the second. To return, the Pena is really worth it....

Saturday 9 September I stopped with my wife at this place to have lunch hoping to find enough kitchen. With our surprise we could taste excellent typical dishes such as risotto with barbera, ravioli with plin, roasted lonza. Treated more than carefully, considering among other things the great affluence of people. Friendly and attentive staff and owners of an exaggerated availability. Absolutely to recommend. This place was really a surprise. Sometimes you think that in a central place, not very large, you do not eat well or at least not compared to the price. Instead from Albacco you eat wonderfully, the staff is kind, the owner beyond the bench always smiling and courteous. Many possibilities, from the various combi at a price more than convenient, to the typical dishes from the menu list. All right, all right, I'm just saying that the nebbiolo braised is sometimes moving.

On a visit to Asti on the occasion of Christmas markets we choose this place in a very central position close to one of the main squares. The place is small even if in summer I think it has a large but very welcoming dehor and with some stylistic touch that creates a beautiful osteria atmosphere. The menu is very rich but being in 4 and with 2 small children we choose to shorten the times with the menu offered for the occasion of the markets (flat of 3 starters, first and sweet) to 20 euros. Appetizers ok, especially raw meat definitely very fresh, the first with white ragù also and sweet really good! All accompanied with a good barber of the house and served in just times. I've been to this place with my family. When we booked, we were told that we should eat in an hour because they work on shifts: 12-13, 13-14, 14-15. When we arrived on site, we realized that there was really too much confusion. We have proposed a fixed menu at the cost of 15 euros consisting of first, second, contour and sweet, choice between 2 first, 3 seconds, 2 contours and 2 desserts.
