"We booked a table for our family holiday a few weeks in advance and paid a deposit, which seems to be becoming quite standard for restaurants nowadays. When we arrived, we were greeted by pleasant and friendly service in a cozy, casual dining atmosphere. The menu offered a good selection, including a special chef's menu. Three of us ordered the burrata, but only mine turned out to be delicious and creamy inside — I guess it was just luck. The squid starter was a hit with another three diners at our table. My father and I chose the trout, which was delightful, especially the lemon drizzle. My nephew ordered the steak, which he described as delicious and polished off every bit. Two other diners had steaks and a pizza, which were also well received. However, the seafood linguine was a bit disappointing, as it was overly herby and tomatoey instead of being rich in seafood flavors. The dessert options were somewhat limited, but we enjoyed the tiramisu, lemon posset, and gelato — all were quite good for their types. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would definitely consider returning."
