"We booked a table for our family holiday a few weeks in advance and paid a deposit, which seems to be becoming quite standard for restaurants nowadays. When we arrived, we were greeted by pleasant and friendly service in a cozy, casual dining atmosphere. The menu offered a good selection, including a special chef's menu. Three of us ordered the burrata, but only mine turned out to be delicious and creamy inside — I guess it was just luck. The squid starter was a hit with another three diners at our table. My father and I chose the trout, which was delightful, especially the lemon drizzle. My nephew ordered the steak, which he described as delicious and polished off every bit. Two other diners had steaks and a pizza, which were also well received. However, the seafood linguine was a bit disappointing, as it was overly herby and tomatoey instead of being rich in seafood flavors. The dessert options were somewhat limited, but we enjoyed the tiramisu, lemon posset, and gelato — all were quite good for their types. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would definitely consider returning."

A great pre lockdown 2 meal. The shared baked camembert was fabulous and the Tuscan beef stew a delightful reminder of having such a dish in Tuscany. We look forward to being back when the lockdown is over.

Absolutely outstanding restaurant! The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The food is excellent! I had the best porcini mushroom ravioli, and my partner said his carbonara was the best he's ever had.

This is a fantastic place for a family outing. We visited on a Friday night without a reservation, and the staff were incredibly friendly and courteous, accommodating us with three children and a dog. It was a pleasant dining experience!

A nice, unassuming Italian restaurant, in the middle of Chipping Campden. Given the location, the prices are reasonable. The food is tasty and very well presented, and the service is excellent. I had the lasagne from the specials menu (a different take in the classic) because I rarely eat pasta at home... Maybe it 's the fact it was a treat but it has to be up there with the best I 've had. The desserts are lovely and satisfying too!! The only down side is it was all so tasty, I forgot to take a picture but take my word for it, you won 't be hungry when you 're done!
