"Booked here as there were early evening slots and the reviews were fabulous. Cannot understand how this cafe is rated better than the nearby Plough. Tatty Bunting is a completely different type of eatery. Staff were really lovely and the location was fine BUT the food was only average probably absolutely fine if you are looking for a local cafe but not if you are looking for fine dining. I hasten to add my expectations were raised by the open table reviews I do not feel I was misled by the cafe at all."

The atmosphere is very laid-back and welcoming. The food is delicious, albeit a bit pricey, but the quality is top-notch. Definitely worth a try.

We recently tried this restaurant for the first time and were only there for a few days, so we weren't sure what to expect. The service was fantastic, we enjoyed the food, and the atmosphere was beautiful. We hope to return soon.

We had a fabulous time on Saturday night, the restaurant was full and the atmosphere was lively. Even though it was busy, the service was excellent (special thanks to Harvey for being so cheerful and entertaining) and the food was wonderful. I would definitely recommend a visit.

We wanted to try somewhere different and Tatty Bunting lived up to our expectations in every way warm welcome, well organised, good menu (including veggie options), great service and freshly prepared food. I don't know why we haven't been before, but we will certainly return and recommend our friends go and try it.

We arrived at the Lodges on Friday evening so thought rather than getting back in the car to go out we would try Tatty Bunting. A table of four, the service was friendly and very attentative. The food was excellent, I had the haddock fishcakes, my son and mother in law had ribs and my husband had sirloin steak. All very nice and reasonably priced. We would definetly return to the lodges and will go back to Tatty Bunting. Thank you
