"After reading a couple of google revues and trip adviser I thought give this takeaway a chance. It’s rubbish simple as that poor food no effort I should have known better when greeted by kids stuck on there mobiles and delivery guy reading a book on a Friday evening I should have run. But too the food worst effort I have experienced all 3 dishes Luke warm this was due I feel too the owner having a good chat on a mobile then having too get up and sort my order. Taste bland poor in respects of other Indian restaurants and takeaways in the area putting a pale chilly on the top of your meal does not impress when I personally have never seen a white chilly ever other than when it’s off. So don’t listen too great revues look down to the 3stars and that is where this takeaway sits in honesty ps I pass this place most evenings and can’t say I ever remember seeing a cue or multiple people inside and this I can say between 2016 to sep 2020. So my advice if your drunk it will taste amazing if sober it’s rubbish."

We were staying just down the road but had no idea what it would be like, we weren’t disappointed, all 6 of us made good choices, plenty in a portion and good value.

Online order confirmed at 18.47. I phoned at 20.06 to be told they were busy and it would be delivered in 20 -30 minutes. Still waiting for delivery at 21.10. Nearly 2 and a half hours! Mothers Day treat from son. I very much doubt if I'll use them again!

Zainah’s food is delicious, but DO NOT EVER order with delivery, as their main driver was completely out of order, and very rude, verging on the point of being threatening! Please do not give this bad mannered restaurant any business whatsoever !!!!! Steer well clear !!!! 0 stars for the absolutely disgusting attitude…NEVER AGAIN !!!!

Madras perfectly spiced, just on the cusp of really spicy without being obnoxious. Bhuna was rich and thick as it should be, tikka masala was perfect. Rice delicate pilau flavour, chupatis amazing. Delivery was quick given the distance, driver really polite and helpful (we stayed on a farm in the middle of nowhere), food arrived hot, well packaged, no leaks missed or leaking, would highly recommend.

Ordered at 5pm and it came 30 mins early which was good. Mozzarella sticks were gorgeous but bhajis were soggy. Rice was meh and naan was ok but ordered a lamb bhuna as they are mild. Said mild on menu but it was seriously spicy. I cant have spice as it messes with my stomach and swells my tounge slightly. One bite and my mouth was on fire. Wont order again unless i get a diff curry. Also half the curry had spilt in bag.

Hate writing a poor review but was needed unfortunately. The Bombay potatoes were rock hard and tasted like they were reheated! Onion Bhajis were rough too tasted off and like they’d been cooked in oil that had been sat there for 6 month. Chicken in the curry wasn’t great either. The only thing actually decent was the rice tbf but maybe uncle bens have upped their game ? Waste of £30 on the set meal for two was starving n all. Won’t be going back hit the parivarr in mold for a decent curry only went else where cos they were closed.

This is the second time I've been here wasn't overly impressed the first time but everyone deserves a second chance so I thought why not. Unfortunately my second experience was just the same as the first, I wouldn't call the food bland but it wasn't a million miles off. I just don't understand how people on here say its thx best indian takeaway in Flintshire, its not even close. The food is OK and that's about it. The portions are hardly over generous and for £16 for a main course it doesn't do it for me. I have been to at least 10 better Indian takeaways and I haven't been to nowhere near them all. It's not for me.

I’ve recently moved to the area and the first job was to find the right curry house. I tried a few, this is by far away the best. In 6 weeks I have worked my way through most of the specials- each is uniquely spectacular. Tonight’s was Chettinaad, they say it’s hot and they mean it. But **** good. Their lamb is flavoursome and tender, their chicken tasted like; well, chicken. A broad selection of naans and rices, great starters. None of it is particularly cheap but all of it is good value. I don’t plan to move away from the area in a hurry, but when I do, this lot will be coming with me- voluntarily or otherwise. Thank you Zainah’s, see you next week.

"Went for a drive Father's day and ended up having a meal here, we rang and luckily got a table for 7pm. On entry to the Celtic Arms it was a high walled gated area with absolutely beautiful gardens which went on for some considerable area, it is a golf club as well and a beautiful golf course with golf buggies opposite the restaurant. Opposite the golf buggies their is a play area that as I recall was fenced off but attached to the restaurant as its also a bar. On arrival to the resteraunt the manager was extremely warm and welcoming and escorted us to a table just outside of the restaurant. During the time we where in the Celtic Arms I observed the waitress in the restaurant constantly clean and spraying the tables which was absolutely so reassuring since the last covid people have relaxed a bit to much. A young lady who was equally as welcoming came and as us for our order, it was a set three course meal at £23.99 which we felt was really reasonable for such a lovely place. Halfway through our time in the Celtic Arms the young lady went home from her shift that had intially taken our order and I pressume we then passed to another waitress. I felt we where out of the eye of the bar but not in the restaurant so got a little forgotten about, although once we called a member of staff to remove our plates these where remove immediately. The starters where delicious with plenty of prawns on the prawn cocktail and the pate had an amazing homemade chutney. The mains where lamb and beef with the whole meal being cooked to perfection and hot with vegetables cooked just right. A lovely touch we felt was the lady out of the restaurant came and asked us if everything was to our liking and was there anything of the meal we would like a little extra off, I dare say you won't get a ton of potatoes or veg but the gesture was very touching and to be honest the meal size was ample. The desert white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake we shared and both agreed it was delicious, and we then shared a cheeseboard which I had got on the three course set menu. The delicious chutney again appeared with varies cheeses, crackers and grapes. Our compliments where left with the manager and the staff with our thanks for serving and delivering multiple resteraunts can not quite achieve. Well done Celtic arms for your polite, professional manner and serving a delicious good quality meal which was ample portioned, reasonably priced in an excellent environment. Would definitely recommend this place it's beautiful and wins hands down on the last 20 plus places we have been over the last few months. We will most definitely be going back again."
