"Last night, Saturday 04th March I placed a telephone order at 1850hrs for a takeaway to be delivered. The waiter took my order £53.46. I was told by the waiter it would be approximately 1 hour for delivery. After an hour and a half I called the restaurant (Zaal) to find out where our food was. I could here the manager tell the waiter it was just leaving the kitchen and would be with us in 15mins. 20mins later the delivery driver called to say he was outside the block of flats and he’d rung the intercom. Our intercom hasn’t rung so I told him to ring it again, to which he replied, I’ve given the order to a young man with curly hair and glasses, your son!!!!He came and took it for me. I told the delivery driver that I DIDN’T have any children, never mind a son and he’d just given our food to someone else!!!! I asked the driver which Flat this imbecile had gone back into with our food to which the driver pointed to the flat. No. 10. When the driver knocked on their door they refused to answer the door because they knew they’d stolen the food. When I called the restaurant to talk to the manager to explain what had happened. I heard him scream at the waiter to tell me to F**k Off, my food was on the F**king way!!!!! If this is what they (Zaal restaurant) class as Good Customer Service. I would hate to see they class as Bad Customer Service. I have had NO response from the restaurant manager with regards to getting my money back or an apology for his disgusting language. For anyone thinking of using this restaurant I would think again. Absolutely appalling service!!!!!!"

Table booked for 8pm. Joined a queue for about 15 minutes to be seated which was fine and good to see they were busy. On being seated took about 30 minutes to get a drink. We had our starters about an hour and a half...

I had a divorce here recently. chicken papa with rice. it was delicious. personal w courteous and friendly. very impressed. make sure not to order from the takeaway menu on line, although the prices are weighted to reflect the delivery.

Ordered off the special menu, got every dish we could and not a single one disappointed, could not recommend enough. Did have to call a plumber and give them a massive tip the next day. Also have an ice pack on my bum. Yours sincerely,...

The best Indian around by far, great food, excellent service always such a welcoming atmosphere. Really enjoyed our meal this evening, got to try lots of different dishes as we had the indulge menu, under £18 per adult, a lovely weekday treat

We have regularly visited Zaals when staying in Fleet on business and always had a good meal, delivered by good staff. The menu has a good range of not just standard curries but also some really interesting specials. For reference it’s still Kingfisher on tap

Regular customer of Zaal takeaway, however 2nd time in a 6 weeks that they have forgotten part of the order... This time round when called to tell them they said that they would reimburse my account, I even chased via email however have not heard from the since. A little disappointing as always enjoyed their food in the restaurant and delivery

Theiving b@× €¥ds! Took our order, over £50, then 2 hours later their delivery driver gave our food to someone else! The delivery driver was clueless as to who he had given our food to and then disappeared! When calling the restaurant to enquire and complain about what was happening with our order my wife was promptly told by the manager (heard clearly in the background) to f#@k off. We still haven't had an explanation as to why we didn't receive our food, a call back from the manager or if we are getting a refund. Absolutely awful service, avoid at all costs
