"Menu was not as on the net VERY disappointed especially it was our wedding anniversary we took another couple. It was embarrassing because they had also looked on the net to look at the menu. of the normal starter not on the menu only steaks no risottos or pizza (not that we would have ordered pizza) none of the desserts other than the Eaton mess which was in fact served in a brandy basket (stated mixed fruit) but we could not find mixed fruit other than passion fruit pips which we left because it was a load of whipped cream. Things like cottage pie. Lasagna It was as if it was a lunchtime menu. Had we have known we would NOT have gone we went because of the selection on the advertised menu. I asked a member of the staff for the normal menu to which I was informed that was the menu.I said in that case it should have been altered on the net for the amount of time it was going to be their normal menu or when booking they should have informed me it would be a limited menu. Now the place was very busy (which may have been the reason for the menu) there was a good atmosphere we have been on several occasions which was why because our anniversary went again.VERY VERY disappointed"

My son and I visited this evening for a celebration meal. We ate from the festive menu. The food was amazing. Very fresh, hot and more than we could eat. The chef even came out to check everything was OK. Would definitely recommend. Have booked...for a birthday celebration in January.

My family of had an absolutely lovely birthday celebration Sunday lunch. We were minutes late due to road works, but the staff were great about it. The food was really well cooked and tasty, and the service was excellent. We will definitely eat...here again soon, and would highly recommend to anyone.

This is our visit here and didn't disappoint..they even did us prawn cocktail starters even though they were not on this particular menu! of our party had fillet steak, both said how good it was, so tender and tasty. The other meals were just...as good. The waitress went above and beyond, even having a laugh and a joke with us. Will Def be back again soon. Voir le carte

It felt like a lunchtime menu rather than the advertised one that had attracted us to the restaurant in the first place. Despite the busy atmosphere, we were let down by the lack of variety on the menu. If we had known in advance, we would not have chosen to dine here. We have visited this restaurant multiple times before and had a good experience, but this time we were very disappointed, especially on such a special occasion like our anniversary.

The service at this restaurant on Christmas Day was terrible. Our main meal was served hours after we sat down, and it felt more like Christmas tea than Christmas dinner. We didn't even get pudding because we walked out due to the poor service. The cost was also too high for the quality we received. When I complained about the service, I was met with rude and unprofessional responses. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was my first and last time going out for a Christmas meal, thanks to them. They really ruined my holiday.

My husband is from Willenhall, so we have friends in the area who dine at this restaurant a few times a year. Our first visit was a few months ago for a night out with the girls. The staff were polite, professional, and friendly, and I was truly impressed by the amazing flavors of the food. We visited again in December with my husband for the festive menu with friends, and once again we were not disappointed. The staff were fantastic as always, and the food was delicious. Even my husband, who can be a picky eater, enjoyed it. We are looking forward to returning in the future. I wish I could pick up this restaurant and move it to Lancashire! Voir le carte

My husband and I went here for dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were certainly not disappointed. The food was exceptional and substantial. I had the chicken liver, blackberry and Prosecco starter which was amazing and plentiful. We both decided to choose from the ‘specials’ board for main course and both had the swordfish steaks which were delicious. The menu is very comprehensive to suit most tastes. The service was also excellent with very attentive but unobtrusive staff. Wine list covers a wide variety and there is also a small bar for popular spirits and cocktails. It’s a really lovely and cosy place with a nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

I went to the the Mystic Kaz mediumship with my Mom Nan. Wow what a night. The food was amazing a course meal and the mediumship for it was worth every penny. We all went for the homemade fish pie it was...huge, it was full of cod, salmon, prawns with a delicious sauce topped with fluffy creamy mash and cheese. It also came with a side dish of vegetables good variety. All I can say it was full of taste amazing. We all went for the Lemon Merengue pie again it was amazing decent size very tasty. We was all full ready to pop. The evening with Kaz was amazing. I would highly recommend getting booked up. The staff was very pleasant welcoming, always asking if we needed any more drinks, if everyth...

"This was our first visit. I have to remind myself that this is a training environment for students but there should be someone in charge, who is identifiable to direct the students on how to present a menu and how to place a dish in front of customers. However, four courses for £35, amuse bouche counted for one course. Amouse bouche lacked any seasoning, orzo starter, well cooked but again lacked seasoning. My wife had fish, Coley, which was nice. I had chicken breast on a bed of curry sauce with hassleback potatoes. My whole dish was luke warm at best, the curry sauce was overpowering, and the hassleback potatoes were not crispy. The chicken was lovely and moist and I ordered a side of triple cooked chips which were super hot, expensive at £4, I only wish the rest of my dish was that hot. I had cheese and biscuits which consisted of Brie, blue cheese and cheddar together with chutney. My wife had Pain Perdue which was well presented and tasty. The restaurant is more like a cafe, not cosy, so don't choose it if you want a romantic evening. Overall would I go again? probably not. If you are ever near the Lake district try to book a table in the restaurant at Kendal College. On a final note; there is parking on an evening next to the college. Drive up to the barrier and press the call button, security will let you in. The barrier opens automatically on exit."
