"Great location near the Opera House. We picked this restaurant because we saw quite some people having their lunch in the open terrace. Waiter said there was no English menu, but he did take the time to walk us thru' a few of the traditional dishes in English. The Sauerbraten (roast beef) with Klöße (boiled dumpling) was good. Also tried the local dark beer.Overall a nice place for lunch I think..."

Wolffenzacher has a very nice beer garden to sit in during summer time. The place is charming and centrally located. The Wolffenzacher sausages with bread and sauerkraut is an excellent choise as well as the tartar or the salmon sallad.

It was random choice of restaurant, but we don't regret it at all and we still recall it with delight. We sat in nice restaurant garden, unfortunately not cigarettes free. We tasted some traditional meat dishes and great Bavarian beer. Portions were enormous and food was very good indeed. The staff was very helpful. We highly recomend this place!

The ambience of the restaurant is more like a pub and seems to be used as such by quite a few locals. The food however is good quality retaurant stadrds with many typically franconian dishes. The wine list is a good mix of local and international wines, and the service quite friendly and efficient.If you have room for dessert, try the "Apfelküchla" (baked apple rings) which are delicious.

We went to this restaurant for lunch on this Sunday. Usually we avoid going to nice restaurants on Sunday because they are normally full and the quality not the same as in the evening. This was not how it was today. The food and service was excellent! The price was good and the portion was big. The most important question is " would you order that meal again ?"
